What team do you ususally stick to or prefer to use in ME:2

Also, this may have gone into my decision to pick Miranda, but in ME:2, did you still have to have some sort of engineering talent in your party to open locked stuff and hack computers? I'm thinking you did, which is why I would have brought along Miranda, but I don't remember at all. It's been awhile.

No, you didn't...I kind of wish you did, personally, since it would have made who to bring along more of a situation choice than just combat. I love the cast, but it's a shame they don't factor into gameplay much beyond who's going to hit hardest.

Then why the hell did I stick with Miranda after I got Thane or Samara? God damn it.

Jack and Zaeed. They seem to have nice synergy. Plus Zaeed reminded me of my late dad. In ME1 I used Kaiden and Wrex becuase they worked nice too. I played an infiltrator.

If it's not on Hardcore/Insanity, I'll usually tout around only non-biotics. (I really have a thing against Biotics), which usually leads me to Tali/Garrus badassery.
When on Hardcore/Insanity, I'll switch my party composition based on the prominent enemy type. I'm not going to bring Morden up against a group of synthetics, nor am I bringing Tali to shoot some organics, but I'll usually err on the side of Combat/Tech characters (Garrus, Kasumi) and one straight biotic (Samara).

I also tend to never bring Zaheed. I hate Zaheed.

For the record - this is with my "Canon" playthrough, which is always an Infiltrator.

But seriously, I usually just snipe people so Legion and I stay back and cover Garrus like he's the main character.

Another team build I use is Garrus and Miranda because it reminds me of ME1...good times.

I prefer to switch it up as much as I can, usually based on whether or not a character has special dialogue options during a mission, like Zaeed during the Archangel mission.
If course I do have favorites, Garrus ended up coming with me a lot, for example.

I tend to bring Garrus around for a while, mostly for nostaliga purposes. I also like Grunt for the fact that he's a living tank, Legion for being good with tech and Jack for Biotics.

Admittedly it doesn't matter, I've always found the AI for teammates very lacking.

Incidently, I already know that it's going to be Ashley and Garrus all the way for Mass Effect 3.

Since I know the missions fairly well, I just use whoever seems the most appropriate against the enemies.

I usually have everyone specialize and swap out the team depending on what I'm fighting. So Zaeed/Tali for disruptor ammo and hacking if I'm fighting robots, Grunt and Jack/Jacob for close-range firepower against space zombies, and so on. Miranda, Kasumi, and Garrus are pretty good all-around if you're going to be fighting a bunch of different enemies.

I have three Shepards, so it depended on which one I was using. With a magic-heavy character: Tali and Garrus. With a combat-heavy character: Tali and Samara.

Not because I felt some need to properly put together my party, they're just my favorite characters.

I alternate usually between

Kasumi/Garrus/Thane/Legion/Grunt (in 1 I ALWAYS had Wrex in my party)

But on normal playthroughs I always use Kasumi and Thane. I like Zaeed and Samara also but really can't stand using Miranda or Mordin.

It's either Mordin and Zaeed, or Mordin and Garrus.

I tend to cycle between combinations of Zaeed, Legion, Garrus and Grunt. My strategies usually involve all out firepower.

Miranda and Garrus have always been a pretty solid team for me. Sometimes i rotate Garrus for someone else like Zaeed or Samara, but Miranda always stayed on the team due to versatility.

I play as a Vanguard, and normally would run with Mordin/Garrus and Grunt.

Miranda because she's hot and Legion because he's awesome.
