what is it guys?
Looks like a mosquito eater bug we get around here, aka a crane fly
I often wonder where that silly myth came from. Crane flies don't eat mosquitos. Adults don't eat at all in fact.

I had one of these in my kitchen, i dont think it was a crane fly or a daddy long legs, as it had a much chunkier body and had a sting+ egglayer thing.

It's dead, that's what.
Hey! Insects are people to, kind of.

Look at this little girl.

Could you stab her?

It looks like what my stupid aunt once referred to as a Japanese Mosquito, and they hurt A LOT when they bite you. I must have been 8 at the time and I looked at her and told her that it was a crane fly and they were harmless.

Nowadays, I hate them with a passion. They are still just as harmless, but they are as annoying as they possibly can be. They always just clumsily fly around, sometimes at your head because they are dumber than a fly.

Bees are cyoot and make sweet honey for my Sugar Puffs. I've never been stung, so I like them.
That thing on the other hand, looks dangerous. It'd kill me the second I turn my back! Not taking any chances... *sleeps with knife under pillow*

This guy has it, definitely [sub][sub]not[/sub][/sub] a lizard.

But yeah, it looks like a large Crane fly, aka a Daddy Long Legs.

Completely harmless, I'd say.
Troll? daddy long legs is a spider.
Wrong there. A Daddy Long Leg is an insect, for it has six legs. At least I think insect. I know it isn't an arachnid.
Daddy long legs is a crane fly in the UK, a Harvestman (arachnid) in the US, and a Spider in Australia

As i said in an earlier post, I've allways known them as Crane Flies and the Harvestman as "Daddy Long Legs". Born and raised in the UK...

its a bit worse then that some places in the US call the common house spider a daddy long leg and the rest call the Harvester/Harvestmen a daddy long leg

so you get the myth busters testing the spider when people asked them to test the myth daddy long legs have the most powerful venom but there fangs cant penetrate the outer layer of skin.
