I had one of these in my kitchen, i dont think it was a crane fly or a daddy long legs, as it had a much chunkier body and had a sting+ egglayer thing.

It looks like what my stupid aunt once referred to as a Japanese Mosquito, and they hurt A LOT when they bite you. I must have been 8 at the time and I looked at her and told her that it was a crane fly and they were harmless.
Nowadays, I hate them with a passion. They are still just as harmless, but they are as annoying as they possibly can be. They always just clumsily fly around, sometimes at your head because they are dumber than a fly.

As i said in an earlier post, I've allways known them as Crane Flies and the Harvestman as "Daddy Long Legs". Born and raised in the UK...Yoshemo said:
