I don't believe in global warming either in fact the earth entered a cooling stage 9 years ago...also in the 70's it was catastrophic man made global cooling...also the U.S. sinks more CO_2_ out of the air than it puts in...take that enviros....no, I don't want to start a debate here maybe I will start a thread about it but not here.

I have revealed more on this thread than to any family or friends...
A straight dude who embraces gay culture...

It was meant kinda ironically
Ok, I think you quoted the wrong post though...

I am a conservative but as I have more kinks than a broken slinky I do not "hate" homosexuals. I may not agree with their practices but deliberatly targeting does no one any good...I don't mind them I just don't want them to hit on me.
Ok...read the "ironically" bit.

I'm pretty much as straight as they come. It was meant to be funny...

Guess i failed there
Sorry, still new to internet forums (this is my first) I didn't pick up on the sarcasm...

That is a mental disorder that Bill Hicks referred to as "having a dick." I wouldn't worry about it, especially if you're a teen. The only problem is if you're leering. Gotta know how to look, glance, look and glance, and not just stare at those things bouncing around.
Ha, ha. Okay, thanks. Maybe I won't slapped around so much any more. :D

I don't have your problem. Frankly, I hate and despise small children...really I do...

It's not so that I don't believe in global warming, I just think that the actual "threat" part of it is a scam. There are proof of the government lying (Yes, I know I sound like some conspiracy theorist, but I believe what I've seen)

Every night, when I go to sleep, I have an electric fan running at full blast next to my bed. I can't sleep without the noise. Yeah.

The rest? I don't want to say in a place where it can be traced back to me...

This, coupled withe the fact that if you listen to any of the leaders of the large green movements you will think you are on the set of a movie in which cultists seek to end all life on the planet as we know it. For example look as Pau Ehlerhert(something like that) in the 60's and 70's he predicted that there would be so many people on earth that we would face a severe global famine, I think he called his book "population bomb". Anyways he had a huge following and every decade after that he and his followers would come out and say that the population could not increse any more and that we should take drastic measures like sterilization and "rationing" of how many children a couple should have.

Turns out we have more that enough food production capabilities it is just that distribution is not the greatest...especially with most CFC's being banned....

His ideas largely shaped the green movement today and had a large influence in his time...

For more info on global warming I have the book "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming." However, just ignore his ad hominem attacks and comparison of environmentalists to communitst (first chapter), the rest is quite good.

I try to convince people around me, but I get the same degrading comments. Afraid, nutjob, idiot, etc. But there is enough evidence. And it just seems that the government is all in on scamming us. May sound a bit hard to believe, but one of the big shot climatologists said "We must get rid of the Medieval Warm Period", so they basically said that they must hide scientific facts so they can have it their way.

And according to a voluntary scientist, 75% of the temperature measuring devices set around America are off by 2 degrees, and one of them being put in the asphalt, standing outside a building near the exhaust shaft of an air conditioner.

There is also the so called "tree ring data", where they measured temperature history through tree rings. Problem is, they only measured one tree!

But the most devious one, is the hockey-stick graph. Ah yes, Michael Mann, never thought we'd see through you. Here's the deal, you've seen the graphs, right? It starts low, but then leaps into the sky. That is their "accurate guess" on how things will go down. But the skeptics gained access to the program that measured this. They put in jumbled data, nothing to do with anything, and guess the answer. A hockey-stick graph. The program is rigged to make hockey-sticks. If that isn't a scam, I don't know what is.

And while I hate pointing fingers, I have to state that Al Gore is in fact either a hypocrite or a non-believer in global warming. He consumes more than double the electricity and energy of a normal American citizen. He also owns a beach house on the very shores that he predicts will flood. And the UN's climate panel, is led by a railroad engineer.

I'm not saying that all is false, but people choose one side and stick with it, when there are proof on both sides.

And I, I laugh as I bleed, pieces of paper stapled to my elbow.
i have a friend who does that.

YES!!! Take into account that the owner of the "Weather Channel" doesn't even believe the global warming would make storms worse, there is no "consensus" of scientists on global warming, the U.S. is actually sinking more carbon dioxide out the air than we are putting in, and the f^cking environmentalists have been on record saying that they must blow everything out of proportion in order to get people to do something you have a recipie for disaster.

Also, the "warming" period was only recorded after the Soviet Union collapsed and suddenly could not maintain their wheather stations in Siberia....surface temperatures would sure seem to rise after thousands of measuring station in FUCKING SIBERIA were shut down wouldn't they.
In fact sattelite temperatures show the "warming" is much less than what surface temperatures indicate as they can actually measure the entire earth...

There is nothing wrong with trying to help the environment but they blantaly ignore evidence in order to push their agendas...

Sorry for the rant it just makes me go..."What the hell are they thinking?"

(I actually put some more in my original post there while you were quoting me, you can read it now)

Some other juicy stuff: According to science that makes sense, the reason it's been warming (which it actually hasn't in the last decade) is the Little Ice Age set some centuries ago. We're currently exiting it, so why shouldn't it get colder.

Fred Krupp was in a debate with the producer of "Not Evil, Just Wrong" and he made no good answers to the points he made, he just sneaked past the questions. And he talked about the "global warming fixes" as a way to help economy. That's what it's about. Money. With things like the Copenhagen Treaty, we will be put under a corrupt system ruled by a climate panel and third world countries with the power to exploit our countries resources. Imagine, countries like Rwanda and Zimbabwe taking the money from India and China. I'm not saying we shouldn't help the third world countries, but this isn't the way to do it.

Luckily, I don't think either China or India will sign the thing. They have a blooming economy thanks to their industry, and this treaty will rob them of their industry and their income. Why would they sign that... thing?

Here's a video with Glenn Beck and the weather guy, John Coleman, discussing this issue. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ft8LfE7AI2w&feature=related (I think I may actually buy his book)

And the results that Glenn Beck mentioned of bringing up this is true, I've been mocked for stating this.

Oh, I almost forgot one thing I heard during a speech on global warming by Cristopher Monckton: In a country in South America (or was it Africa, I don't remember the country and continent exactly) 1/3 of fields used by farmers for producing food had been exploited for creating bio-fuels. Imagine, thousands, maybe millions of people starving to death just so some nervous Al Gore follower doesn't have to worry about driving his expensive new car too much.

But if you're really interested, I recommend this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zOXmJ4jd-8] video. It's long, it takes a lot of thinking, but you will learn a lot. Watch it later.

A. Biofuels are more inefficient than fossil fuels as they cannot be transported by pipelines (they have to be carted around in semi's) and cost more to produce. Also it is driving up food prices as farmers are switching to corn for ethanol instead of producing food crops.

B. I agree with all of you points but I don't feel like formulating a coherent reply.

C. Yes, I watch Glenn Beck as well and saw that episode. I agree with him on somethings and I do believe the "global warming" business is about money. However, I am a conservative but I dop take things he says with a grain of salt and I research it later.

I am going to friend you now....

It worked out well, and was a great confidence booster! I also partly did it to spite people at uni, too.
