But in all seriousness, timed jumping puzzles are thing that I normally hate. It can often be hard to see where your character is going to land, which results in SPLAT! INSTA-DEATH.
Why did people ever think Bridget was actually female? Nothing about his face looks feminine!
Well, that's one of his manlier pictures.
Just a tick, lemnme see...
There we are. I'll admit, I should have put more effort into my first search.

The worst trap i got caught up in was the one where someone introduced me to a life wrecking tool at a young age and encouraged me to spend large quantities or hard-earned money to provide alternate amounts of pain and suffering.

it started with a SNES and Yoshis Island, damn you father!

Apples.

IWBTG players know what I mean.

Calumon: Rick Rollers, I always fall for that.
I'm with you here. Damn those apples. You finally get to the other side of the screen, go up and those damned things start falling upward!

The fucking Fire Tower traps in Oblivion. And they always get you, because they never miss, and you can't disarm them.

....They know where you are..

I AM YOUR SOLDIER

OT: Not much of anything anymore. I've played enough games and I'm observant enough to know my telltale signs.

Tripwires... but only in Dragon Age. I always find them in Oblivion, and always find every other trap in Dragon Age. Tripwires always get me cause I'm looking for pressure plates or inconspicuous boxes on the ground.

Eh, mines in Fallout 3 kept getting me. I spent half the game with broken legs, feels like.
Or IN oblivion, those damn rope traps. I played most of the game with night eye on, so everything was a dull shade of blue. You expect me to see a tiny fecking rope? Well, actually, those are just peanuts compared to those god forsaken Alyeid ruins.
Rule #1 when entering) HUG THE WALL!
I remember walking into the ruins where the vampires lived. 10 steps in, ceiling and floor starting mingling with each other. I only survived because paralyzation makes you damn near invecible.....if a vegetable for a few seconds.
On a more obscure reference. Somehow I always got caught by those environmental insta-death traps in Trapt. First time I saw the Man eating Music Box it was being used on me.

Claymores! I'm too busy killing to check my feet! I use First recon alot though and sometimes I run right through them! Much to the annoyance of the sniper/camper/gaytard using them! "WHERES YOUR CLAYMORE NOW *****!!!"

Just about every trap in Fallout 3, apart from the exploding prams.
They where pretty subtle. In dark areas the bear traps wher awful. Although I did catch most of the wires (i looked at the floor a lot and moved slowly). The pressure plates where plain easy.
