Are you tired of seeing main characters hog all the spotlight in games? They always seem to have the same basic story and therefore becomes dull. However, sometimes companies create games for the secondary characters. (Luigi, Wario, Shadow the Lazy-Sonic-Team-writers-Hog, Chun-li, etc.)

Now even though many people will argue whether or not a game for a secondary character is good the question is what video game character do you think deserves its own game and why?

My Top 3 Choices: Meta Knight, Knuckles & Chaotix, and Wario & Waluigi.

My reasons: Each one of them has a deep story and character. Especially a NEW Knuckles & Chaotix b/c they're background stories have remained the same and interesting while Sonic team can't give their Fast Blue Failure a scenario and stick to it. Wario & Waluigi would be nice to see together in their own platforming adventure.

What about you?

The merchant from Resident Evil 4. Best game character ever. Who is the man behind the mask and how does he answer the call of special agents in need of guns and ammo? Questions that everybody would like to see answered.

Wario had several extremely great Gameboy games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wario_Land:_Super_Mario_Land_3 for example.

Just check out the rest of the wiki page for more info on the Wario series.

Roman from GTA4 deserves a game where you try to awkwardly pick up women via a rythmn game template.

Tagline: Like Guitar Hero but with a fat Serbian.
hell I'd buy it >.>

not enough, why? all he does is burn down a village and then sit in the crater for a while and gets killed by cloud, I dont see that but judging by the sheer number of the sephiroth fans out there this game would still outsell most games >.>

OT: I would like Delita from Final Fantasy Tactics to have his own game his story was interesting and it would be nice to know more or even a prequel involving Barbaneth, the 50 years war seems interesting

Clearly, there needs to be a puzzle-making RPG where you play as Glados and systematically kill a bunch of test subjects with your puzzles.

There can even be a music-making minigame.

Falco. He's been in many Star Fox games and has mage appearances in Brawl and Melee and I just think he needs hos own game now.

*sighs* I'm gonna let that one go b/c I didn't state the obvious. Oh dear I wasn't clear enough. Not the 32X Sega Game. I'm talking about a NEW Knuckles & Chaotix game. I knew I should've made that clear.

This. Also: Maya Fey, Rydia, Bowser, and a few more that I can't think of right now.

*Sighs* no, no, no, no. A Wario AND Waluigi game. I own Wario Land 4 and Wario World, but the two mirror characters of everybody's favorite Red & Green duo have no game with each other in it. (OTHER THAN Toadstool Tour, Mario Tennis, Mario Party series, blah blah.) (geez people)

Captian Price: doing his awesome shit.
because he's immortal, fought in WW2 AND today.
THAT would be an excuse for an over-the-top micheal-bay-style game.
OR:
zerg rush, play a single zergling in a desperate mission to kill an unsuspecting base

This was the first Nintendo mario-esque game I sat down and played through entirely.

Tali and/or Garrus totally deserve their own spin-off (provided the game doesn't pull a dick move and kill them off). I think there's a lot of potential for a good story hidden in the Migrant Fleet - especially since being so integrated into human culture after however many years away from home would make Tali the chaotic neutral rogue of the flotilla, uncovering conspiracies and making weapons explode - but maybe that's just me. ;)

And I think it would be fitting in a Zelda game if you could actually, you know...play as Zelda. And/or Sheik. Or maybe some other alter ego. That would spice things up. Why have a game named after you if the main character is some other guy who's supposed to be rescuing you? That's not very legendary, Princess. Plus, I've always found split personalities to be strangely endearing.

And for fuck's sake, Blizzard, Ghost! Why did you not make it? Wai?

I suppose there could be many more cases where a supporting character could be brought to the forefront. But you must pick and choose your candidates with care. Lest you end up with another Final Fantasy X-2. Did they seriously think that Yuna was good candidate for a main character? Then again, a fantasy game based around a J-Pop princess was probably doomed from the get-go.
She would have been a good candidate for a main character if they hadn't utterly assassinated her character in the sequel. I liked the old Yuna, who beat the shit out of Yunalesca. My version of the sequel is that Tidus stays dead, all the other characters gleefully play Blitzball, and Rikku throws grenades at anybody who utters the word, "Vegnagun."
