I would buy that. As long as she can still make them explode. Although I probably would have been even more likely to buy a game where you play as Lulu and zap Seymour Guado in the balls for refusing to die. Plus, she can set that what's his face...the Tidus look-alike douche on fire, and send her kamikaze moogles to blow Yuna up anytime she gets near a microphone.johnx61 said:Rikku would have been a better candidate for the main, especially if they had shit-canned all that J-Pop business. I really did not like Yuna at all in FFX and she was absolutely atrocious in the sequel. Rikku can be a bit annoying at times, but in a tolerable way. And I think that she had a personality more suited to being a freelance mercenary. She doesn't have the flat princess personality of Yuna. Nor does she have the droll, tough girl thing that Paine exudes.badgersprite said:She would have been a good candidate for a main character if they hadn't utterly assassinated her character in the sequel. I liked the old Yuna, who beat the shit out of Yunalesca. My version of the sequel is that Tidus stays dead, all the other characters gleefully play Blitzball, and Rikku throws grenades at anybody who utters the word, "Vegnagun."johnx61 said:I suppose there could be many more cases where a supporting character could be brought to the forefront. But you must pick and choose your candidates with care. Lest you end up with another Final Fantasy X-2. Did they seriously think that Yuna was good candidate for a main character? Then again, a fantasy game based around a J-Pop princess was probably doomed from the get-go.
Here's an idea... Rikku's magical adventure beating slutty mercenaries with a pipe-wrench.
Don't ask me to embellish on that one. It's in the infancy of development.

Or maybe a game where you're bowser and just sit at the end of the level until mario gets to you, and maybe throw a few billion hammers at him and make him try again.DeadlyGlitch said:Peach, the point of it is to see how much shit you can get into before mario saves you.
Marry me?Flos said:Clearly, there needs to be a puzzle-making RPG where you play as Glados and systematically kill a bunch of test subjects with your puzzles.
There can even be a music-making minigame.
Extra points for every second you can stand on Dive Rock without being shot, pushed, slashed, chased or fireballed off the edge.RandV80 said:How about The Adoring Fan. Rather than being the hero that saves the world, you get to be an annoying little sidekick that tags along for the ride, avoiding danger and trying not to get ditched/killed by the hero.
I want it.johnx61 said:It's times like this that I wish I had some kind of ability to draw. Because I have a great mental image of Rikku cheerfully bludgeoning Leblanc's head into giblets with a pipe-wrench. Drawing Shuyin being launched into the sky, "Team Rocket" style, while being assaulted by incendiary moogles would also be a humorous image. Especially as Lulu looks on muttering a single word under her breath.badgersprite said:I would buy that. As long as she can still make them explode. "Loser..."
While I agree about Knuckles and the Chaotix (Espio should have his own ninja game, that has a lot of room for story seeing as how he's never really mentioned) but I disagree with the Sonic failure part. Anyway, back to the topic, Bowser could use a game where he actually wins at something, not against Mario but maybe give Bowser a king rival with their own army and such.SkullCap said:Are you tired of seeing main characters hog all the spotlight in games? They always seem to have the same basic story and therefore becomes dull. However, sometimes companies create games for the secondary characters. (Luigi, Wario, Shadow the Lazy-Sonic-Team-writers-Hog, Chun-li, etc.)
Now even though many people will argue whether or not a game for a secondary character is good the question is what video game character do you think deserves its own game and why?
My Top 3 Choices: Meta Knight, Knuckles & Chaotix, and Wario & Waluigi.
My reasons: Each one of them has a deep story and character. Especially a NEW Knuckles & Chaotix b/c they're background stories have remained the same and interesting while Sonic team can't give their Fast Blue Failure a scenario and stick to it. Wario & Waluigi would be nice to see together in their own platforming adventure.
What about you?
