Way back when it would be Wolfenstein 3d, Super Mario Brothers, some games for the oddyssey 2.
Doom, Prince of Persia.

Warcraft 2 was the first full version game that I got. I beat the entire game without cheating. I didn't even know that you could cheat when I played it.

As far as I know, we've had that Oddyssey 2 since before I was born, So I'm guessing the first game was either on that or a PC game.

The first game I ever played was the original Crash Bandicoot for the original PS1. It was so simple to play and understand that I loved it instantly, and this happened when I was 4 years old on Christmas morning

Wing Commander for my 386. Damn, now I feel like I'm remembering the summer when I first fell in love. Yeah I'm old. Anyone else miss this franchise?

My first game ever was Mario 3 (so original, right?). First computer game was either Oregon Trail (also original) or Command & Conquer, can't remember which.

Either "Super Mario World" or "Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends". It was that long ago that it could have been either.

Although I didn't start playing games properly until "C&C Tiberium Dawn"

I can't even remember back that far.

Probably the original Mario Bro's on the SNES.

or Commander Keen.
Uhm, the original Super Mario games weren't for the SNES, they were for the NES, and the first games I played... Man, that was such a simple time. Press B to jump, press A to run... I miss the good old days.
meant NES, thanks for pointing that out.

typing SNES seems pretty automatic for some reason.
Probably because the SNES rocked. Except for the change in Super Mario Bros. 3 Super Mario All Star perfected it all... I want those P Wings when I beat Bowser!

I'm curios to find out what people from different age groups 1st computer game played ever was.
For me personally, being in my late teens it was Lylac Wars.
The day i killed that giant ape at the end never made me happier.
It was a 2D Simpsons game on.......I can't even remember the console, except that it was white.

I remember Bart scateboarding down the street sidescrolling style, but not much else.
I had Prince of Persia on the same console if it helps anyone identify it. :)

Bart Vs The World? That would make it NES, but I don't think Persia came out on the NES, so a 2E? Commodore? Ringin' any bells here?

For me it was Pokemon. I was going on a long-ass ride with my family to Boulder, Colorado, USA, and I needed something to do, so I got a Game Boy Colour, Pokemon Blue, and Tetris.

And now I'm on an Internet Video Game forum. Danke Schoen, Nintendo.

i can't say for sure but it's a toss up between commander keen (/the/ definative 90's 'first game') or a point and click puzzle game called "the lost mind of doctor brain".
And if anyone knows where i can get a copy of it thne please let me know, i have very nostalgic memories of this game.
