Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, god i love that book so much, and I'm a Marxist! It's just so refreshing and touches on subjects we're dealing with in the U.S. with neo-socialist Obama and all.

Don't know if this counts but I've been half reading, half-listening to the audiobook of World War Z, I already read it but i just got the audiobook, great voicework for a fantastic book, highly recommended if you like zombies :p

"Out Stealing Horses" by Per Peterson. Pretty good, makes me want to move to Norway and live out my twilight years.

Damnit- the Twilight series has ruined so many awesome things.

And Then There Were None By Agatha Cristie
Murder mystery, very compelling, kept me interested to the very end.

A Conflict of Visions by Thomas Sowell. A great guide to what central assumptions makes "conservatives" and "liberals" oppose each other on so many disparate issues. If you're on one side of the aisle - or even not! - and want to know what makes the other side tick then you should read this book. But if you want to continue in the delusion that the other side is evil, don't touch this book with a barge pole. Just be aware that Sowell is right-wing, though he does a good job of explaining things even-handedly.

I highly recommend C.S. Lewis : A Biography, its far more studious than prior biographies which paint him as St. Clive patron Saint of Children Books. Biographies shouldnt be written by friends of the person, I find it a bit disingenuous to the person. I think Lewis himself would advocate truth in everything.
Have you read his autobiography? That's the one I'm really interested in reading. And I don't know very much about him, it just seemed a bit much to say he disliked organised religion seeing he was an Anglican in name. Although his writings did proclaim to be from the viewpoint of general Christianity. I really need to read some of his theological works. You've obviously read more of his works that I have (only Screwtape ages ago, and Narnia of course) so I won't argue further.

I'm currently reading Wyrd Sisters, but before that it was Sourcery. I'm currently working my way through the entire Discworld series again, from start to finish (including TAMAHER and the Tiffany Aching novels).
