For example the last movie I watched that fell under this description was Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), no it hasnt been 3 years since iv'e seen a movie I loved (IRONMAN), obviously not. No I never saw it when it came out instead I just watched it on dvd with my girlfriend today for the first time and I thought it was absoulutley awsome from title screen to ending credits and the only thing that im upset about is that I can never watch it again without knowing what happens. So I ask you, what was the last movie you saw that you absolutley loved?

I couldn't get into Sweeney Todd. I'm going to try and watch it again sometime, maybe I just wasn't in the right mood.

The last best film I watched was "Mean Streets" by Martin Scorsese. I hadn't seen the film in years, it was time for a re-watch. Great movie.

I went and saw the Town a couple weeks ago and I was very impressed with it. I've now seen it twice.

In the cinema: Scott Pilgrim Vs the World

On DVD: Back to the Future part 1

Honourable mention: very specific parts of Superman Returns.

It's one of those weird movies where I'd LOVE some kind of sequel but I just know they're screw it up.

The Hangover. It was the second-best comedy that's come out within the last year (the best being Hot Tub Time Machine).

My theater is showing a different classic movie two times a month every month for the next year. September was Casablanca. I hadn't seen it before then and I loved the hell out of it! It is an absolutely astounding movie and though it doesn't crack my top 10, it fits snugly in my top 15 of all time.

I recently saw the movie Black Dynamite. A parody of the Blaxpoitation films of the 1970s that starts with the protagonist's brother being murdered by "The Man" and ending with a Kung Fu fight with President Richard Nixon.

The production values were intentionally shoddy and the acting horrible, however that's all part of the joke. It was one of the most hilarious parodies I have seen since Airplane, and I say that with sincerity.
