Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Just love that movie. Last movie I watched was actually Inception, which I really enjoyed as well, but not in the same way.

The A-Team. After watching a lot of films that try to be serious/interesting, this was simple Fun from beginning to end. One of the few films I've ever seen twice in the cinema as I went on my own then dragged a mate to it 2 days later.

For example the last movie I watched that fell under this description was Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), no it hasnt been 3 years since iv'e seen a movie I loved (IRONMAN), obviously not. No I never saw it when it came out instead I just watched it on dvd with my girlfriend today for the first time and I thought it was absoulutley awsome from title screen to ending credits and the only thing that im upset about is that I can never watch it again without knowing what happens. So I ask you, what was the last movie you saw that you absolutley loved?
Very good choice :D. I had the DVD until it was stolen from me, and I so want to get it again. And Depp,Carter,Rickman are all fairly good singers, too, which I didn't expect at all after remembering Pierce Brosnan's poor (but well-meant) attempt to sing well in Mamma Mia (another film I loved)...

Anyway, I saw Mulholland Drive last night, and despite the fact that I could make absolutely zero sense of what was going on, though I do have my theories, it actually kept me very much engaged and interested right to the very end. An exceptionally weird film, but also a very good one.

And I also feel I may as well mention my two joint top films of this year here, too. Scott Pilgrim (which I saw twice in cinemas) and Inception. Both amazing, especially with the visuals (Avatar eat your heart out), and great plots and characters too :D.

Its a tie between Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya and Scott Pilgrim Vs The World...

Both were amazing... And I guess a runner-up would be Inception...

Turns out, I really liked <url=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/326.235794-2-50-Reviews-Let-the-Right-One-In-2008>Let the Right One In Like...far more than I thought I would. So...that.

There are two. My wife and I finally got the chance to watch Date Night the other night and laughed hysterically all the way through it. The other was Benny and Joon. Although it came out in the 90s, I never saw it. We watched it last night. It's a fantastic movie.

Toy Story 3. I've seen both Inception and Scott Pilgrim this summer, but I still firmly believe that Toy Story 3 was the best of them.

I'm a bad person to ask about this because I absolutely love really REALLY weird movies. So, most recent one I watched I absolutely loved? Probably "Dark And Stormy Night," a parody/homage of all the 'Old Dark House' films from the 1930's, done by the same crew who made "The Lost Skeleton Of Cadavra."

Just watched Once Upon a Time in the West on DVD.

It was amazing, and I've quoted it twice in three days, an impressive ratio if you ask me.
