What was the last Pokemon team you used?

Same as the title, I'm curious as to how many people went with a balanced team and how many went with what they love. Also to see how many weird teams are out there that I never thought of. Who knows, we all might learn something. You can go into as much detail as you want, but you can also just list names.

Just finished Fire Red again with:

This is the first time I ever tried a balanced team, and it worked out well. I only needed three HM's by the end of the game (Fly, Surf, Strength) so I went ahead and integrated them, and only strength caused problems. That and Flareons movepool...bleh.

Edit: These are Pokemon that I loved from Pokemon Emerald, which I still use in SoulSilver.

I never evolve my dratinis past dragonair. I always hated how dragonite looked. It was such a departure from the evolutionary line. Dratini and dragonair had elegance. Dragonite looked goofy. My team might be better off without either rapidash or ninetails, but they're among my favorite pokemon. I can't pick which one to get rid of. Lapras is just cool. Golem and machamp can pretty much kill anything between them. They're usually what I keep in reserve for when things get serious.

To be honest I rather start a new team as most of them aren't that great compare to the team I used in Diamond (no I don't suck but they were somewhat awkward to used).

The crusher thing is a pretty funny story. My Tyranitar is back from when it first came out. And my Metagross was a Beldum I bred from a Metang I caught. And I liked the name crusher, so I just decided to go with the version business and keep the names. And then I got my overpowered dream world nidoking and I couldn't help but name it anything else.

My Milotic was from Ruby, I had no idea that feebas would evolve into that, and my young self just named it Dammmmn. And I still like it.

My Garchomp's name comes from how fast it is and how it almost always 1 hit KO's everything.

And there's no story about Mirage. I just like the name.

Man,there sure is a variety in pokemon, huh. I've got a dragon, a robot, a fox spirit, a sea serpent, and two legitimate monsters.

May i ask how do you fair competitively ( on pbr )? Im curious because of xatu and honcrow , i can't really see those 2 being usefull due to their stats other than xatu setting up trick room and maybe using explosion right afterwards

I'm in the process of nuzlocking through white version. I've had a lot of bad luck, it seemed for a while that everytime I caught a 5th team member someone would die and I'd be forced back to only 4.

Togekiss=Level 95. Aura Sphere, Psychic, Sky Attack and Extreme Speed.
Staraptor=Level 100. U-turn, Fly, Brave bird and Close Combat.
Luxray-Level 100. Thunderbolt, Thunder, double team and Crunch.

Note: All Pokemon at level 100 have been trained legally also they were in their 70's when I transfered them over.

Also I'm finally getting a Wi-FI connection set up by the end of August, so once I figure out how to get online properly and have a few test battles, I'll be happy to play anyone.
