I was just thinking it would be nice to share moments in life where you just take a step back and marvel at what you're experiencing.

This thread idea stemmed from a random YouTube surf that led me to a video of the 2010 Victory Day Parade in Moscow. I was watching the parade, and then the camera showed Red Army veterans saluting the Russian anthem, immediately afterwards showing significant leaders present.

Prime Minister Putin and President Medvedev were obviously there, as was Premier Hu Jintao. Then I saw German Chancellor Merkel and nearly cried at the fact that she was there.

So, I was just wondering if anyone here could remember a time where they were captivated by something.

When Gil Scott Heron died I listened to "The Revolution Will not be Televised" really loud. Twas quite sad and empowering.

Having walked into the center of the city on the day of the February earthquake in Christchurch, it was strangely astonishing walking back after the quake hit and seeing everything changed after having walked past it five minutes ago and seeing everything as normal.

Ever listen to "Inner Universe" by Origa? One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

Well, that powerful wind outside earlier really made an eff- Oh, that sort of "moving".

..Commander Shepard's speech just before you hop out of the Normandy and enter the Collector base, if you choose to say anything.

<_< What?

The end of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds anime. It struck a chord as it resonated with my current situation, I understood the reason behind it but it still made me pretty sad. Also happy in a way too.

When I listened to the OCRemix 'Tetanus'. Mainly because of what I imagined while listening (and mowing the lawn). Well, I almost cried, JUST from my random imaginings. Very sad random imaginings...

I caught up to MS Paint Adventures (Homestuck), and... well, since you won't understand unless you've read and it's a spoiler...

Kanaya died (sort of) along with Nepeta. Not Nepeta, she was the cutest of all the characters!

You don't butt in line! You don't steal! You don't molest little children! You don't deal drugs! The rules haven't changed!

The last thing to move me? I would have to say this:
It must be one of the most amazing and moving things I have seen for ages.

I have to say the same only I put on "Pieces of a Man", and "Home is Where the Hatred Is" then I listened to "Lady Day and John Coltrane" to cheer myself up a little. Humanity lost a lot when Gil Scott Heron died.
