When I was in year 6 and my cat got bonneted, I cried about that, can't think of another time after that though.

The last time I played Battlefield Heroes, I ate some cake and flew around the map aimlessly. At one point I saw enemy tank on the beach and came rushing to him (in a typically kamikaze maneuver) and I didn't realize I was being followed by a Royal plane until I came very near to the ground, like several meters. So I made quick maneuver just few inches above enemy tank, and the plane that has been following me crashed in his teammate' tank, killing three of them (2 in tank+ 1 in plane). I started laughing like crazy and almost choke myself (because of the cake) and tears started rolling down my face...

And last time I cried because I was sad/upset was about 6 years ago, when my dog died :(

When I broke up with my girlfriend (we dated for 3 years). I was about to ask her and I to be engaged when she gives me the relationship-headshot: 'We can still be friends'.

Week later she was going out with my best mate.
That's a harsh blow. For better or worse, I heard those dreaded words fairly recently before I even got that far. Not that that has dampened my determination in this situation though.

The last thing I got that emotional about was when I found out an old school friend of mine had taken his own life. That was just over a year ago. It was strange, as it was a good hour or so before the reality finally hit home. Guess I was just too shocked to really react initially...

Let me just give my sincerest condolences to some of these posts...I hope you all feel more positive now.
Thanks. At least I do, it was some years ago. Besides, you know how it goes...

Once you do get over it, there's no other choice but to go on. At least I like to think so.

I generally don't let my emotions get the best of me because a few of my best friends have it a lot worse than myself and I'd much rather be there for them than wallow in my own grief. However a while ago after having a really really bad week which I'd just wanted to finish by being with my best friends for a while both my parents decided to call me up and ruin my evening and that made me cry for a while. Also partly because my friends realised what I was living with every day and it felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Thinking about this made me choke a bit.

Aw shit. That must've been bad. I feel sorry for you. And yeah, the mental shock just drains any and all emotion for a while. Then it hits like a ton of bricks....

Yes we are all human, even though on the internet we like to say we aren't but seriously what was the last thing you manly, manly escapists felt emotion for?
I object to being called manly....

As for last thing I cried about, erm.... well if things carry on this way tonight, I'll end up in tears over a guy.

Actually, the last time I was in tears was because a guy was being nice to me. Seriously. I am messed up like that.

Despite what the super-tough "heart of stone" type-guys may tell you, there' absolutely nothing wrong with crying. Hell, I'll check out the Tear Jerker page on the TV Tropes Wiki every once in a while to have a good cry. It relieves so much pent-up stress and leaves me feeling a lot better afterward.

When I finished Tales of Symphonia 2 two days ago, with the best ending. Before that, Gurren Lagann episode 8. Before that, Tales of the Abyss (Akzeriuth, the thing with the little boy). Before that, reading Fruits Basket vol. 22. Before that, Fate/Stay Night, Heaven's Feel route. All in the past few months.

And of course, due to the Pavlovian conditioning inherent in Tsukihime, this tends to get me to tear up.

i guess i will go down the list of the last 5 times.

1. i think it was over the fact that i was adopted but now sure.

2. the song wonderful by Everclear. because it makes me think of when my parents were separated a few months ago.

3.when my girlfriend broke up with me because i was a nerd. i felt like shit.

4. when my parents were separated my dad took me to the store to redeem the 100$ in change he gave me for my birthday. we went in and i got less then i was supposed to. so he flipped out on management and i had to drag him out of the store. then the manager called the cops and we ended up riding home in a cop car. after that he told me he was ashamed and he cried. my dad never cried before. so i started crying.

5 when i heard my grandma had 2 heart attacks a few hours apart. she had surgery and now i have to get my head buzzed because we made a bet. but its worth it now that she can walk around and do other things.

Frank Turner's Long live the Queen did that to me as well on a Sunday afternoon in March this year.
