When I broke up with my girlfriend (we dated for 3 years). I was about to ask her and I to be engaged when she gives me the relationship-headshot: 'We can still be friends'.

Week later she was going out with my best mate.
I feel your pain. I was certain that my boyfriend of three years would propose to me and upon doing so would begin planning our wedding, life together, and even buy a basset hound puppy like he always talked about. However, like you I received the friends speech followed by "I still have feelings for you, but I'm not sure what they are. I need to follow this and see what happens... maybe then we can be together again".

Worst of all I still love him and I wish with every fiber of my being that he would realize that I'm the perfect girl for him... now I need to lay down and have a good cry T____T

Let me just give my sincerest condolences to some of these posts...I hope you all feel more positive now.
Thanks. At least I do, it was some years ago. Besides, you know how it goes...

Once you do get over it, there's no other choice but to go on. At least I like to think so.
See, that picture is why I hate football (it's not soccer and never was, dammit. It's called football by every country in the world except the USA, why do you guys have to be so awkward? The language is called English for a reason, you know...). Anyway, I much prefer Rugby Union. Not League though, never League. Rugby Union's the only way to go (and there when people get tackled and injured they carry on playing, I know a guy who carried on playing right up until his neck was broken, ended up my mom had to drive him slowly to the hospital).

Anyway, on topic. Last time I cried was when someone kicked me in the balls when drunk. And that's all I remember, since I was pretty wasted too at the time...

Three years ago, when my sister was fucking with my head to try and turn me against our mother.
I was angry and confused, so I got all teary and such.

I refuse to let it happen again.
May I ask why she did such a thing?

Last time I cried was when I was seven and our cat died. I am 21 now.

Last time I cried was about 8/9 years ago when i was 7 and my great-nan died. i was really upset, being a kid and all that, she was a cool nan. Other than that, I havent cried since, which is either really good or really bad.

Not exactly crying but tearful when I watched 'The Reader'

when Michael (Ralph Fiennes) is sending the tapes to Hanna Schmitz (Kate Winslet) in prison, he loves her but can't bring himself to come to terms with the things that she has done

My dad. During the last days he was staying in the apartment I was with him at.

He was screaming at me because I wouldn't live with him after the divorce... I'd rather not talk about it.

When I read that story about ugly the cat a month or so ago. That had been the first time I cried in 15 years and it will also become the last time I cry... ever. Emotions cause me to be physically ill and being sad makes me puke, literally.

I cry waaaay to much, I generally don't get truly angry, I just cry. It pisses me off! I know there isn't anything wrong with crying, but sometimes the things I cry about are stupid!

I have little tear sessions when I hear songs that remind me of my late grandfather, and he passed away in 2003 on my sisters birthday.

Other than, I still suffer depressive episodes which see me in a heap on the ground in tears. There is never any real reason, but when my emotions become excessive I explode either in anger or sadness.
