Left my computer on for 3 weeks once. Didn't want to wait for it to turn on once I got back from vacation.

If standby counts my laptop has been on for the majority of this year - only had a limited amount of uses with Word and i only ever used it in situations where i had no internet so i didnt get a free alternative or torrent a crack.

If it doesnt, then probably my playstation 1 when i first got it - my parents didnt buy me a memory card for a week, and piss off was i losing that progress.

Theres been plenty a time when I've come home from a week long holiday and found my computer sat there blinking away. I feel a bit guilty when I do.

I levae my pc on at night on weekends, even when im not downloading anything. And I dont leave my consoles running. I tried that once with guilty gear X2, I heard you could play as Justice if you had 24 hours of gametime. SO I started a practice battle and left my ps2 running with my tv off. I got worried later so I called home to ask them to turn it off for me.

I really don't turn my PC off, there really is not much difference in sleep energy consumption and energy consumption when off.

Therefore in order to better preserve the hard drive and other fun bits I just leave it on; don't worry though it's got a load of fans to cool it.

My gamecube for like 2 months
We had just bought it and sims but we didnt realize it required memory card so we played and just left it on. After a week we bought a memory card. The memory card had 59 memory blocks. After we bought it we realized sims required like 60 blocks. So we kept looking for a bigger memory card. We finally found one 1 month and 3 weeks later.

Wait, you guys turn it off?

Just kidding :D

My longest was about a week, because I couldn't be bothered to my PS3 off.

This thread should have probably been limited to consoles since most people leave their PC's on all of the time anyway.

For me, I try not to leave my PS3 on for really long periods because I feel it may try to seek revenge by starting on fire and burning my room down while I'm away. But I'd have to say anytime I play a Metal Gear Solid game is when it will see the most continuous use. After getting MGS4 I left it paused all day while at work and played it late into the night.

Currently my PC's been on for about a week. Longest time was probably a bit over a month.

About fifteen hours, two of my friends came to my house and decided to beat RE5 in one go. !5ish hours later they did good for them. I had to watch/nap/play the CoH demo I downloaded while I waited. Luckily nothing happened.

I left my Gamecube on for almost a whole day to unlock Mewtwo in Super Smash Bros. Melee.
