Well, emotionally, probably 2004. I had about 3 or 5 people that were close to me die that year. Seriously, just about everyone close to me who has died, died that year.

2004, I got impaled on a steel pipe and Bush got re-elected to boot.

(This is not a joke, I was visiting a friend at his job as a contruction-worker when a propane-tank exploded near the plumbing storage-house. Several people, myslef included, got staked by pipes in the aftermath.)

What part of you was impaled?

2003.
I was constantly bullied by every classmate, I came home with black eyes and a bloody face each day. Litreally everyone was against me.

On the brightside i discovered that games were absolutely amazing and felt truly connected to something. Games got me through some really hard times when i would even contemplate suicide.

and people say games are bad for you!

My right femur, which caused several of my friends to nickname me "House", although unlike him, I don't live in constant pain.

Jumping and sprinting have become a lot harder eversince though.

2009

I was constantly stressed out, I failed half my classes, and my mother passed away.

2005-2007(ish) My moms mental instability due to Bi-Polar disorder. This time was marked by my moms contentious attempted suicides, and her being in and out of Institutions and rinse and repeat, Also a notable rise in the strength of my anti-depressants.(I'm off all meds now and never been happier)...

This is a long rant. You have been warned.

2004-The man that I had been dating for almost 3 years turned out to be a secretly funtioning drug addict who decided crack would be his new drug of choice. He stole all my money including the rent money(he had lost his job and didn't tell me), stole my identity, opened credit cards in my name, and put me over 10,000 dollars in debt. I didn't find out about the credit debt and identity theft till later that year when collection agencies started calling me.

Also, when I did find out my money, we got into a screaming arguement and I threw a glass a him. The glass flew back and cut me. He called the called the cops on me and tried to have me committed for a "suicide attempt". The fucking cops made me go to the hospital to be evaluated(yet another reason I fucking hate cops) and while I was trying to sort that lil situation out, the asshole went and pawned everything of mine that had value.

After pawning everything, he leaves my car on the side of a road(the water pump broke and dumped hot water on his leg)where it gets towed. I could not get it out of tow, cause all my money was gone, so the car sat there in the lot and mildewed. It mildewed so badly(yet another perk of living in Florida), the car became toxic and had to be sold for scrap.

So, so far-no home, no car, no money, and wasted three years of my life.I literally had to sets my dining table and chairs out on the front lawn to sell, so I could buy a phone card to call my parents for help. But wait, it gets better.

After I move back in with my parents because I had no other viable options, he keeps coming around and harrassing my family cause surprise, surprise, he is homeless now and his meal ticket left him. On top of that, his own parents had the nerve to call me after I told them the entire situation, and ask for my help and take care of him while they send a bus ticket.

Finally, I could not even sue him or press charges because he left the state and ended up in jail in GA.

So yeah, that was the worst year of my life.

Holy crap. So what happened? Did you pay your debt, file for bankruptcy, or did the credit card companies let you off?

That is a horrible story, I'm really sorry.

It is all right. I got over most of it, and am only a little bitter(therapy, friends and family have really helped). I still hate cops, the legal/justice system, and him of course.

To answer your question, I am still in credit card consolidation. No, the credit card companies did not let me off. I did not find out about my identity theft until about half a year after happened. Anyone who has been through it knows how hard it is to correct issues even if you find out right away. Imagine trying to fix things six months after the fact.

The only good thing that came out of it, is that I met my husband literaly a week after I sent asshole home on a bus. The only reason I agreed to go out with him(my husband) is because I have known him for a years.

1995. Thanks to my mom telling a psychiatrist I'd threatened to kill her (not true, by the way), I spent it in a mental institution. When you're a teenager, you have no human rights. When you're a mental patient, you have even less human rights and dignity. I've never forgiven my mother---15 years later I still have nightmares and flashbacks like a fucking Vietnam veteran.

2009, at the start of the year I saw two British soldiers shot to death in Antrim.

I've been quite unstable ever since.
Does this mean a lot to you then? Has it greatly affected your life?

I saw two human beings ripped to shreds by assault rifle fire 10 feet away from me.

It was the single most horrifying thing I've ever seen in my life.

I don't think I'll ever be the same.
Would you care if I asked why they were killed? And who by?
