Would you care if I asked why they were killed? And who by?
They were British Army soldiers stationed in Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK (Although many contest that) They were killed by the Real IRA.
From earlier in the thread
"The Real IRA. An offshoot of the Irish Republican Army, a guerilla army dedicated to making Northern Ireland part of Ireland and not Britain, as it currently is.
The IRA have signed a ceasefire, but the Real IRA haven't. So they shot 2 soldiers earlier last year outside an army base and killed a Northern Irish policeman.
I had the bad luck to be in the North and in that area when it happened."
Funnily enough, I agree with the proper IRA that N.Ireland should be part of Ireland again.
The Real IRA are a bunch of aimless thugs though, no strategy or reasoning.
