What was the worst year of your life and why?

I have to say i feel a bit sorry for some of you.
you seem like good people and a few of you have been through a hell of a lot of shit.
may 2010 be a good one.

Would you care if I asked why they were killed? And who by?

They were British Army soldiers stationed in Northern Ireland, which is part of the UK (Although many contest that) They were killed by the Real IRA.

Funnily enough, I agree with the proper IRA that N.Ireland should be part of Ireland again.

The Real IRA are a bunch of aimless thugs though, no strategy or reasoning.

I see. So it is by pure chance that you observed these people dying. that is very unlucky.

I'm gonna go with 2007. I was in a very strange and emotionally damaging relationship for six months, and I was elected my high school class's president. Then the ungrateful asses tried to have me removed. As a result, I became somewhat of a pariah in my high school. Also, I endured crippling insomnia, during which I only slept maybe a total of ten hours a week.

That being said, my worst year is nothing like other worst years here.

He was 17 ( i was 15) and he died in a car accident.
