The first Halo when I was about seven. My dad got me the Halo special edition XBOX with a free copy of Halo for $50. I remember that the Flood gave me nightmares when I was a kid

Half-Life 2, when I was 13; not all that objectionable, and it's a well-told story with solid gameplay.
HL2 is rated M in the States? Say whaaaaaaaaaaa-

It's a 15 over here.

OT: BioShock or Dragon Age.

Vexx for the Gamecube. I picked it up like a year or two after it came out. Then again, I did have Mortal Combet 2 but I remember the rating system being different way back then.

I don't know if Doom was 18+, if it was, then that's my first 18+ rated game and I was four or five I think. Otherwise it's the first GTA and then I was seven or eight years old.

Think about it, Half-life 2 had the most outstanding gore in 2004 when it came out. Factor in that Americans consider blood and gore true horror and you get a game thats not safe for minors or wimps.

And just in case, Ravenholm.

I thought Americans had a bigger problem with dem sex and ting?

And is really that gory? I don't even remember much blood in it (and I played it recently) - there's no swearing, sex, drugs, or anything. Seems odd even if it was particularly blood thirsty.

I see your point there, but pointing to another game say... Dead Space. 99% of the time spent playing the game has you looking at at least blood and alot of it. And it contains no drugs, porn and only minimal foul language.

Also playing Ravenholm did you happen to miss all the mutilated zombie corpses everywhere?
