Any computer game? Hard to remember, I think E-Type Jaguar Racing for the Archimedes/Acorn A3000. Other top Arc gaming experiences include Manchester United Soccer Europe and Elite because I'm that fucking cool that I played Elite as a kid bitches.

PC gaming: Command and Conquer (win95 version)

On consoles: Street Fighter II Championship Edition (megadrive) I guess.

I think the first game I played was some random not-really-named game on the Commodore 64. The first game I remember distinctly was Alex Kidd in Miracle World on my Sega Master System.
Alex Kidd.......::shudder::.......those games were creepy. Little kid in his pajamas running around, and his scream when he got hit still haunts me. lol

For my brother Tito and I, it was good old Star Fox for the SNES! Ah, those were the good old days, playing Corneria, just to hear the AWESOME midi music, then restarting after the Asteroid Field level started, because our 6 year old minds couldn't comprehend how to beat the boss. That and we just loved Corneria's music SO FREAKING MUCH!

Either it was Centipede or Pac-Man, I don't remember which. Either way, they are part of some of my earliest memories right along with some of my first drawings and my first day of Kindergarten.

the thing i don't get about the search bar nazis is that there is a group of people who complain about necroing old threads as well.

Anyway, mine was some bizzare game with a black background and colored squares in rooms, and i had to find keys or something to move from place to place. no idea what it was called, would love to see it again, and it was on the apple IIe

The first game I ever played was Mortal Combat. My parents had to drag me kicking and screaming away from the system after what was probably less than half an hour. Not because of the violence, of course, but rather due to my loud temper tantrums upon losing to my older sibling.

Doom, what a great game for a 5-year old.
It teaches kids important skills such as how to survive an invasion of hell's demons and monsters. Shame we don't teach that in school.

Mario Kart 64. The Nintendo 64 was my first system and Mario Kart was the game I got with it.

"Rescue Ranger" on the NES, which may be the first serious co-op game made.

Half the fun was to throw your partner at enemies and cactuses.

Funny story actually, my friend and brother's girlfriend, most innocent girl in the world, hates ANYTHING even REMOTELY evil, said she remembers playing that way back when. When she said that I was amazed. Not because here, the most innocent girl in the world, would play such an evil ridden game, but because next to Mario for the Gameboy, she's played DOOM when she was younger! Sort of makes me laugh. Although she DOES play Goldeneye on her N64, but then again, who doesn't? :l

Hmm I'm not even sure I want to say Gauntlet or Space Invaders or maybe even Montezuma's Revenge on my Dad's Old Atari. Though I might have played the NES before that I can't remember the memories in regards to that are pretty jumbled.

Hmm...it's hard to say. I guess SimCity 3000. I hardly count that as a game, though. The next one up then would be Halo, followed by Freelancer and Age of Empires II. I tried a little of every genre but also didn't get into games until I was in middle school.
