Haha. We had like 8 people at this lan at my friend place and we were playing GTA4.
Any where all playing complete geeks where like killing each other like straight away and a couple of my friends though auto aim should be on. Douche Bags! besides that.
Any way a hectic game is going and then my bros girlfriend hops on and we all think not to kill her because it would be mean.
She starts messing all of us up and slaughtering my friend who is host goes WTF STOP KILLING ME WITH A PISTOL!, and thats the only weapon.
She beat us all 50 kills to 4 death.
HAHA im so ashamed.

Battlefield 2 Online - Saw the flaming cockpit wreckage of an F-18 fall out of the sky at a low angle and hit an innocent bystander guy nose-first square in the chest (The chances of which are?!?!), punted to death and flying offscreen at a fierce speed, I LOL'd.

I was at my friends house, we were fighting the two scarabs in the snow, we both had hornets. He somehow falls out of his and is going back to get it when the scarab stomps him and the hornet. I somehow killed the scarab with a half-dead ghost.

Shooting down a helicopter in gta 4 and having it spin towards me while im pissbolting away from it.

In halo 3 on the ark when u meet the scarab in the desert like place, cant remember the name of the level.
Well i use my tank to shoot the crap out of the scarab and it then fails and lies on the ground for me to hop on. I kill everyone on board and go to destroy the power core, i shoot at it for a full 10 seconds until i realise that i just destroyed it 30 seconds ago with my tank. OHSHI-
No prizes for guessing what happened.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. original, get given the 'get documents from military base' challenge (you know the one where you do it at night so there's only two soldiers) so I decide I'm going to take this challenge in the middle of the day with a knife, two grenades and 120 rounds in my tundra. Get all the way through the base killing everyone (at one point I knifed a guy and flogged twelve rounds from him just in time to reload and kill the last guy). So I'm thinking "fuck yeah" and running back to the trader when I tread on a land mine.

Not as epic as some of the others here but I didn't think you'd understand my favourite nethack death

warthog starts chasing me put down a mine and carry on running so it doesnt look like iv done any thing sneeky, hear the explosion and turn round to look at the carnage, warthogs gone only a wheel left on the floor think its just a graphics glitch or somthing and carry on running, just as i turn to face the way i was going the wreckage falls out of the heavens a crushes me lol, mate said it was even better watching it from a distance.

oh and GTA 4

havin some fun in a copter and decide to jump out at full pelt over the water alls going well till i see some thing in my headed direction, face plant on a police boat and scid across the front into the wind screen.

Mine is in Halo CE.

Me and my buddy just finished that big open area with the 2 hunters and the tank, where you need to grab a banshee to continue in Two Betrayals on legendary. I was in one of the banshee's you needed to grab. And as I landed beside him to go pick up some ammo the banshee skidded along and killed us both and we had to do the whole part over again. "uhhhhhh...hmmmmm...well... didnt see that coming" was my response and "are you &%$#ing serious?!" was his. Lol, the look on his face when it happened was pricless.

About 30 seconds into "playing" GTA 4 for the first time. I go to cross the street and promptly get splattered by a car. My wife looked at me as the screen fades to gray and asked "Did you just get killed right at the beginning of the game?", then started laughing at me.

My luck is horrible.

mine was at a LAN yesterday playing halo slayer i manage to get the only ghost in the map i clean up 2 people then crash into a scorpion sending me flying out of the ghost landing then being crushed by my former ghost

and also at the LAN in css Aztec the rest of my team being killed leaving only me. i kill 11 of 12 players on the enemy team then falling off the bridge to my death

I spawned at the Spetznas base and walked in between to large buildings, I heard a thud and looked up...only to see a random jeep falling down to crush me. I was kinda pissed at first but when I saw the replay my friend caught on FRAPS I had a good laugh at it

funniest death I experienced was in CoD4. My friends and I were doing a private match and of course I was getting the shit kicked outta me. So, I got bored and pulled out the sniper with the flash bangs. spent the rest of the match flash banging everyone. one friend was getting hit more than anyone else. In an act of revenge, he snuck up behind me to knife me. But of course, I knew he was behind me and dropped a flash bang right before he got me. Cussing and screaming because he couldn't see shit. ahhh... what music to my ears lol

Most hilarious death for me was on Halo 3. I was looking around with a sniper rifle when I heard a motor coming up behind me. I turned and was looking right down the barrel of a scorpion tank. Greatest replay ever.

Back in the days of Final Fantasy VII, I wanted to fight the Midgar Zolom on my first pass by that area - instead of taking out the time to catch a chocobo and avoid it. After all, why would they put a ridiculously impossible-to-defeat monster there if there wasn't some way to defeat it?

So I spent quite a while running up and down the landscape, buffing up my characters. In this quest, Aerith was an absolutely necessary party member as her limit breaks at that time not only healed the party completely, but also made them temporarily invincible (At least I believe that was what occurred; it was a long time ago and my knowledge of the special attacks in a wretchedly over-indulged rpg are limited.)

Finally, while with a friend to give guidance, I fought the Midgar Zolom for the n'th time, a few times, and achieved the goal - to have Aerith survive the one 'insta-kill' move. After all, if she survived, she could revive Cloud and I could continue my battle efforts.

When she survived, my friend and I shouted, "She lived, she lived!" only to have the Zolom tail smack her immediately afterward. ... "She's dead, she's dead!"

That was my most hilarious death.

Needless to say, I would not be defeated. I spent much more time grinding and finally was able to beat the Zolom. And I did, indeed, beat the thing on the first time through. The downside is that a second later, it initiated another battle without giving me any time to run away. So I did give up with crushed spirits.

God, did you see how much EXP it gave you after it died. That's only sightly better than the Tonberry from FFVIII on.
