Neighbor has a few Browning shotguns, would definitely loot one of those from him- or join up with him.

As for a melee weapon, got a few of these old Yankee Screwdrivers, kind of obsolete push drill tools- but the spiral-action is spring loaded and basically turns the thing into an old extending baton that could really break some zombie skulls, not to mention break bones to slow them down.

Melee: One of my many many katanna swords and machetes. Fire Axe or hatchet works too.

Mid Range: 9mm Glock - 9mm bullet is the most used handgun and common round on the market. Most police, FBI etc use the 9mm rounds.

Long Range: AR-15 with scope that shoots .308 or other assault like rounds. Get the AR-15 that shoots the most different types of ammo.

Most Effective Weapon at my possession: My brain.

Logic.

"Um... listen, I know you're proud of coming back from the dead and all, but you're a physical impossibility. How can an already decaying corpse actually have the strength to move without falling to pieces? Please, go bother someone else. Thank you."

I would have an AK-74 (The smaller commando Kalashnikov) It's just as rugged, just as easy to maintain shoots the same caliber bullet that's easy as hell to find. I would outfit it with a small power scope or reflex sights and have several suppressors ready. I would also mod the selector to only to ever be on semi-auto fire.

A machete with sharpening stone and a crowbar.

What I'd REALLY like is a Phalanx CIWS that has been reprogrammed to engage zombies... but failing that, I'll take an F2000 and a gladius for melee.

An HK416 and a Crowbar. The HK can hit targets out to 500m and is one of the most reliable assault rifles out today. It also used the fairly common 5.56/.223 round which makes ammo acquisition fairly east. Plus the AR-15 platform is the only assault rifle I have used and the HK is similar. A crowbar is useful because its a steel blunt object that has practical use besides fighting, plus,

I've said it before, a really huge sun lamp outta do the trick. Or maybe one of those huge lights used for lighting stadiums.

The Yukon. Screw fighting the zombies, go where there are no people. no people = the perfect weapon. Other than that, I would carry a 12 gauge shotgun with an extended stock.

Time? Without an immune system, zombies would rot and get eaten by insects to the point where they couldn't move in a manner of days in most of the world. Barricade yourself in an apartment building or other tall structure (with food/water stockpiles of course) and wait a month. You'll be fine.

But seriously (or not seriously, as the case may be :p), if I had to choose weapons, I would like a FAMAS for mid-range, a crowbar for close-range and grenades because, well, grenades.

A full suit of Gothic medieval plate armor. Zombies? What Zombies? I'd like to see them try and chew through solid steel.

I already have an armory...Why in the name of Atheismo would I pick only one weapon? I have two handguns within reach, another that is just a dive across my bed away, a hatchet, a skinning knife, and a switchblade. Thats just in my room and only the true weapons.

You would be like in that movie MIST. People who believe in flat world. I dont believe in paranormal things, but if I see sth than its too late not to believe.

Hmm, I'd probably have custom made blades attached to my arms along with a nice variety of ranged weapons. And a flamethrower. That'd be pretty sweet.
