What weapons are you proficient with?

I'm quite good at using improvised weaponry, from what little experience I do have in combat.
Glass bottles, bins, everyday household items... I bludgeon and I bludgeon often and always keep my distance from any potential sharp objects someone might be holding.

I'm not a master of any form of combat, but I will always refuse to die quietly.
Unless it's of natural causes, blunt trauma and assassins not included.

i've never got to try any firearms but im quite certain i'd pick up the skills fast.

i am however proficient with alot of melee weapons including spears, staffs, swords, random improvised pointy and blunt objects, kubotan, 3 section staff (altho i can't use nunchuks at all..except as a distraction) and i freaking love knives of all size and type

im also really really lucky...to the point i consider it a weapon

No offense there, buddy, but I HIGHLY doubt you could fly an f-18 and an Apache. I understand you're in the Air Force and all that, but it takes hundreds (even thousands sometimes) of hours before anyone can fly either aircraft effectively. Flying is one thing, but flying professionally and attacking with accuracy is quite another. Best to use your skills to escape a fight that you can't win, then defend yourself.

I'm good with any kind of pistol, sub-machine guns, and rifles. Boot camp teaches us that. Also, I can fly a FA-18 Fighter Jet, and an Apache Attack Helicopter.

I joined boot camp at 18. It doesn't take that long to learn how to fly. The helicopters are hard as hell, tho. I still don't have my proficiency for them yet. But I CAN fly. Just not as well as a jet.

Hm fair enough, but it still seems kinda breif to me. In our (U.K.) Army Air Corps, to fly an Apache gunship you'll almost certainly need to be an officer (11 month - 47 weeks approx training) then undergo 59 weeks of army aircraft training, then finally you're trained in whatever aircraft, in this case an Apache, for a further 26 weeks, amounting to about weeks 132 in total. Which is over 2 years, so even if you joined at 17, in the British army you'd only just have been able to fly an Apache, hence my scepticism when you claimed to be able to fly 2 aircraft.

But still, I'm guessing the USAF or whatever have shorter training?

I lol'd. I can only use shotguns, and even then hunting semi-autos and over/ under shotguns are the only kind that I have any familiarity with.

It's pretty funny when you see people claim to be with skilled longswords and daggars and all that medieval shit. I mean how do they know theyre any good? They are proficient with these weapons compared to whom? and who the hell trained them?

Well, I took to it really fast. My uncle taught me how to fly when I stayed with him, and nepotism helped out a bit with my promotions. Be that as it may, I still can fly very well(in a jet. helicopter...let's not talk about it...).

Well I do consider myself to be a pretty good shooter, so really any bolt-action, or semi-automatic, rifle.
The one I used the most was a .30-06 Remington.

Remington 700, I've killed an antelope with it at 225 yards and I love the gun. Also Savage MKII in .22lr. I'm also fairly good with a AR-15, but not at long range. I practice with it in the police shoothouse. Gawd I love guns

I have about a 60% accuracy on a moving target with a bow(Scout Camp FTW) and a high proficiency with light melee weapons like knives and staves.

And i suppose i'm good with my fists, a short knife, a bat (the trick with a bat, don't swing like a TARD)

I can shoot a paintball gun pretty accurately, so i suppose if i got /given/ a gun that had ammo in it, i could try to line up a few shots. I got pretty good at using sights in paintball at 200 meters.

But to be fair, i'd prefer my fists. Much more satisfying and i've had far more practise.

If it helps, I know i can because i've fended off a few muggings. I used to carry a knife and one time was me coming home from a trip out with friends and i had the bat sticking out my backpack.

So i'm good VS the average mugger... ish.
