Black belt:D And by that, I do not mean that I am proficient at wielding black belts >.< and by black belts, I do not mean people who've achieved a black belt in some martial art xD
This made me laugh so hard i immediately imagined a guy dual wielding judo-dudes after the first sentence :D

I'm good with any kind of pistol, sub-machine guns, and rifles. Boot camp teaches us that. Also, I can fly a FA-18 Fighter Jet, and an Apache Attack Helicopter.
You win >.>

I can use a bow, that's it.

Somewhat search bar approved!

What weapons can you use well enough to take out an enemy or at least defend yourself from a similarly armed opponent?

I am a good shot with a 5.56 AR-15
and a .50 BMG single shot rifle.
I could also fend someone off for a little bit with a rapier.

Your turn!
Are you a veteran? If yo are I can see why Taliban turn to prayer when guys with .50 rifles and FREAKING RAPIERS are hunting them. Good hunting.

PS: I live in the UK = no weapons AT ALL! The few guns you do have if we ever actually do have access to if they are ever treated AS weapons then they'll be taken away. Yes, it sucks incredible amounts of sweaty anus.

But for videogames? I am most proficient with "unusually powerful and accurate pistols", especially those with un-capped fire-rate.
No I am not a veteran. I am a 22 year old student with a love for guns and swordsmanship. I own both of those guns and a few more. I am currently saving up for a rapier and a 1911 Colt .45

Well...I can fence pretty well, so I'm just gonna assume most kinds of swords.

Also if you happen to be threatened by some angry clay pigeons then I think I could help :p

Hope you get the time and space to fire them, here in the UK gun laws are so restrictive, the culture so elitist and as a result everything to do with it so expensive (no to mention owning a gun gives the government the right to treat you like a criminal on parole = no privacy, open to random searches and surveillance without warrant). So my gun knowledge is entirely academic but from what I have heard the AR-15 great rifle and an expensive one too... I hear even more expensive to run, ammo prices approaching a dollar per round.

But personally I'd be more interested in a Kalashnikov type rifle, in 5.56mm or 5.45x39 with custom optical sights though I'd never bother with all that picatinny rail stuff... just seems to be added weight, complexity and things to snag. The appeal is the simplicity and utility. AR-15's upper + lower receiver offers great customisation but the gas-system apparently makes the bolt and receiver very hot (not to mention dirty) which isn't good for on the spot maintenance. Plus apparently when made to a high standard they are about 2 MOA of accuracy.

As great as .50BMG is I'd rather have that in a heavy machine gun or other mounted weapon. For a dedicated sniper cartridge a .338 or .400 calibre seems more appealing in a lighter and lower recoiling weapon. Still I am impressed at how capable some .30 calibre semi-auto rifles are at extreme ranges in the hands of experienced marksmen.

A katana and any fencing weapon. I can use a bow but I wouldn't really call myself proficient with it. I've fired some handguns a couple of times but I'm in worse shape with them than I am the bow! Any other weapon for me would pretty much become trial and error should I find the need to use them ^_^;;

I got my AR-15 for $1000 and I only spend 30 cents per round because I reload my own ammo. It can take .223 hunting cartridges or 5.56 NATO rounds so I can just buy what is cheaper. When I don't reload my own a box of 20 is $15-$20. It also doesn't get that hot unless I pop off 15 or so rounds in quick succession. Even then it cools quickly. As for cleaning, it is very simple. I can dissemble it and clean every moving part in about 10 minutes.

My .50bmg rifle is more for sport and fun than for anything practical. It would ruin any animal I shot and takes to long to reload and is to heavy for combat. I love it simply because it makes a big boom and I can nail anything that is within 500 yards with ease. It has a further effective range but I still need practice.

A tiny little bit with a sword. I've had course in tai chi and it's sword stile. But nothing fancy.

Well, most kinds of swords and knifes. Also a bolt action rifle of varying kind. Guessing most handguns.

Blunt weapons would work as well. Even bow and arrow. And my own body. And my mind. :D

I know my way completely around a C7 assault rifle, which is the Canadian variant of the M-16. I can also use a 22. rifle. The C9 LMG. I can also fight with a knife.

Recurve or composite bows.

I own a recurve bow (like the one below) but i haven't used it in a while. However, i may decide to do some archery once i go back to uni...
