What will happen when we run out of Topics?

There's just too much stuff in this world for the topics to run out. We won't run out of things to talk about, neither here or in real life.
However, if by some fluke it did happen, I imagine it would look something like this:

We start vs threads when we run out of topics

We would find the Question of Life, the Universe and Everything and then we get to start over in a brand new one.

Every post is a repost is a repost.
Most if these threads, even when regarded as 'new', has probably already occurred, if not here then elsewhere.
People forget, and it's always new to someone, so it really won't be any more of a problem than it is now.

I think you might be underestimating human creativity. I really doubt we'll ever completely exhaust our supply of topics.

He's also underestimating human stupidity. We'll always have stupid threads like "How many beverage containers are on your desk right now?" Yes, that was an actual thread I saw here.

Interesting how so many people link the existence of the universe to humanity's ability to come up with new things to think about. Even if it is just a joke, that's still quite a connection to make.

Threads like this will appear, supplying more topics.
Plus, how can we ever run out of topics? I don't think that news is in any danger of decreasing, and existing stories can be grossly exaggerated into new ones.

Or, if this impossible event happened, nothing would happen. Its a forum on the internet, not exactly world changing if it dies.

The Escapist will activate its memory device, causing everyone to forget any topic that has been covered. Then, they are all deleted to make way for new threads that are exactly the same. I assume that this has happened many times and is exectuted by the slave workers of the Escapist. Then, one day, one of the slaves will break free and create a resistance against all Escapist power and have some epic showdown. These events will then be made into some crappy game that will get forgotten about. And the cycle begins again...
