What would be the most absurd 'gritty reboot' imaginable?

Doctor Who Rebooted:
Always unhappy and brooding from being outcast from the Time Lords for being non-conformist.
His TARDIS's chameleon circuit breaks when it turns into an army recruitment building.
It can't be called "TARDIS" anymore, because the moral guardians would complain that it sounds too much like calling someone a "'tard", and they don't want children to repeat it, even though its not supposed to be for children.
The theme song will be performed by Rammstein, in English.
The Doctor has a specific need to stop terrorists, and terrorists only.
He no longer has a sonic screwdriver, but a gun that morphs into other guns, or a gun that has multiple settings (a la Judge Dredd)
Everyone who travels with him can ONLY be female, and they're not called "companions" anymore, they're "nurses".
The Doctor still regenerates, but as an older, more zombie-like of himself each time.
And just to try and expand the viewer base, they cast Robert Pattinson as The Doctor, but he plays it with an American accent.
