I'd take any one of the 20 swords and other martial arts weapons I've got laying around my flat. I went through a weird obsession with them from watching one-too-many animé boxed sets martial arts movies and and would buy them from this store that opened up not-too-far from me, my flat now looks like a some kind of nerdy dojo, or better yet, a nerdy armory. I've also got a decommissioned Thompson I rescued from an antique store in Camber, it's got no firing pin, but I'm sure if I had the time I could fabricate the parts I need and have it firing again in no time.

The authentic Native American tomahawk that I have on my bedroom wall. The momentum that you can build up with a swing of that can easily bust some heads.

Now, if I'm forced to fight zombies in person? Well, I'm not much of a gun expert, but preferably something with a bit of range to it that requires fairly little skill. And comes with splash damage. RBG launcher perhaps? I'm much better with estimating trajectories than directly aiming something.

I've always wondered what people would use if there was ever an epidemic that turned the living into the walking dead. Guns, most would say, but maybe others have different, every day use tools that can serve as their weapon of choice.

If we can choose fantasy weapons I would choose a device that emits extremely high energy waves of some manner (even sound if possible) that would vaporize any organic matter in a 160 degree or so arc in front of the gun.

Why not 180? Well maybe 180 if the gun in question is longer than a pistol, otherwise I have to be careful of any of my twiggy limbs getting a little overzealous.

At any rate if not that I'd choose anything that has an extremely high capacity, very little noise (so as not to attract more asshole zombies), and high accuracy.

Of course in the end I hope I could just steal a boat, learn to fish and construct a solar panel array on the boat so that I could have an essentially limitless source of energy.

Till said 28 day later rules zombie blood splatters into your nose, eyes, mouth, ear, or any open cut on you. Hell maybe some will slide down your ass crack and BAM you are done.
