The same thing that happens to anyone else: suffocation.
Assuming he could somehow breathe, nothing out of the ordinary: the reason werewolves transform during the full moon is because that time of month was traditionally associated with heightened magical activity and chaos. It's a time thing as opposed to a lunar phase thing.

That's.....actually a good question.

I would assume that they would go by the Lunar cycle as they would if they were on Earth.

The moons relative position to the earth is what affects a Werewolf, not just seeing the phases/stages of the moon.
So, yes the stage/phase of the moon still matters.

Think 'If a tree falls in a forest, does it still make a sound' type deal.

I never had any deep knowledge of werewolf transformation.

Depends, does the full moon only affect them when they can see it or when its visible to earth?

I bet nothing would happen.

well, wolves even if the are half man still require oxygen and they also require pressure and heat from the atmosphere...so i believe for the very shot amount of time he would be alive it would be a super werewolf! like 20 foot tall!

Wouldn't the better question be "what would happen if you showed him a picture, hologram, etc" of the moon? Think about it...is it the appearance, the supernatural aura, or the fact of the moon being there which allows this to take place?

His chest would explode because it's filled with air and the moon has no atmosphere...
If he'd just exhaled fully he'd simply choke to death.

After either he'd freeze, since the moon's temperature is hundreds of degrees south of freezing point.

Oh yeah, and werewolves are awesome.
On Earth. Not in outer space.

No, I've just looked up various myths on vampires and werewolves after Hollywood and various authors trying to make things scientific.
I draw Werewolves (have a tattoo of one), but am not a furry.

His head would implode. Even if he had a space suit on there, it would be ripped off in the transformation process. His head would still implode, but it would be a wolf's head.
F.Y.I., an implosion is when something collapses in on itself really fast. It's the opposite of an explosion.

If a werewolf were suddenly teleported to to the bottom of the ocean, and he still had air in his nasal cavity, the intense pressure from the water would crush his skull in, and his head would implode. (That's assuming the water didn't rush up his nostrils fast enough to create an equilibrium before the skull crushing happened.)
