Battlefront 2 and Halo.

A huge battlefield where members of the UNSC and The Covenant face off agaisnt each other in both ground and space combat where you will use weapons and vehicles that you are used to and have never used before.

That sounds fucking awesome.
There's gotta be a Battlefront mod for that... or you should make one.

Fallout New Vegas and Deus Ex.

A post-apocalyptic cyberpunk FPS/RPG sandbox full of warring factions, conspiracy and corruption. Featuring intense character customisation and skill specialisation and a fucktonne of sidequests and endings.

My favorite is Deus Ex and my second favorite is Fallout. I guess it'll have a Deus Ex-style plot with the Fallout aesthetics and combined mechanics from both:

It's the future! as imagined in the 50s. You must uncover the conspiracy using your natural abilities (SPECIAL) as well as augmentations, with 50's music playing in the background.

I really want to play this game I just imagined.
Same games, different ideas. Interesting!

Hard to pick two favorite games. If I went with "number of hours with them running on my computer" I'd wind up with the bastard lovechild of Neverwinter Nights and Saint's Row The Third.

So, a DnD Toolset that makes for some great online role playing with dildo bats, cool cars, silly activities and over the top humor that doesn't take itself seriously?

I think my brain just melted.

Elder Scrolls and...erm.
I really don't know what my second favorite would be.
I don't really have one.

Mmmmm, Dragon's Dogma I suppose.
So DD's combat with ES's huge world, tons of quests, and customization?

I could do worse I think.

Final Fantasy X and Knights of the Old Republic 2?

So a party turn-based science fantasy RPG with multiple complex themes and a strong character focus in a setting with a mystical power that connects all life?

...so FFX or KotoR2 then.
hahaha that's a good one, and not too shabby on game choices either

OT: Mass effect and Alpha protocol

So a open galaxy sci fi rpg where you are a fresh recruit in the military that gets yanked for secret ops on a galactic scale against a mind controlled by reapers version of your previous employers, not to mention every major action you perform and character you speak with in dialogue drastically affects how they feel about you and what happens in game, ESPECIALLY IN THE FINAL PORTION OF THE STORY?

hmm....*partially jizzes pants from too much awesomeness and partially realizes both of these games can accomplish most of these already by themselves*

Battlefront 2
I haven't played that game in years, is it still active? Might buy it again if it is.

OT: Dragon Age Origins and Fallout 3. So the Blight won, and you get to explore a post-apocalyptic Ferelden with your party. I want that now.

Suikoden II and Harvest Moon?

Well... umm...

Not much would actually change... I think... since you can already farm and trade and gather materials in Suikoden.

I'd be able to marry one of the 108 characters...?

It would ruin why I liked each in the first place.

Probably.

Though in trying to pare down my "favourites," the idea of Saints Row meets Rock Band came to mind, and I don't care how awful it might turn out. DO WANT.

Hmm, it would be odd. My top's are Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions.

Actually that could be freaking awesome. A grid based strategy game with a flair for the weird.

Dark Souls and Armored Core? That's a tough ask.

The pilot of a rusted mech wanders around a heavily-irradiated city in the hopes of finding a cure for radiation sickness that is slowly killing the human race, metts a few survivors along the way in their own mechs, finds frame parts, inner parts and weapons every so often to upgrade, there are a few mechanics alive that'll polish you and improve your weapons with research notes you gather from defunct facilities, and your main enemy is security systems of abndoned research facilities and experimental mechs. Then at the end when you beat Nineball, the mech that was first sent to retrive the cure, you either...I don't know. This is silly. And the Darkwraiths are a covenant that gathers all the radiation shielding for themselves. You invade other people's worlds through dimensional warping and have a good ol' 3rd person mech fight. You can hire mercenaries through terminals installed at the entrance to facilities and they will be airlifted in. Your currency is ball bearings and you get these whenever you destroy an enemy mech, and if you die, you have to find your destroyed shell to regain your ball bearings.
