You are in a plain white room with a game console hooked-up to a huge HD tv.
In the console is the world's greatest game, you play it, save, and go to sleep.
You wake up the next morning and go to load your save file and the data is corrupted!
And this happens to you for all eternity.
i could live with that.

hell would be like loading screens through every room (Riddick), unmatched lipsynching, ass looking weapons, and the only thing to do is try to sneak through a base, and if you got caught, youd be sent to live with pyramid head for 100 days, then the cycle repeats.

Hell brands everything, even when it was royalties, or a port.
Hell was rushed, and hasnt been playtested and thus is unbalenced and unfair.
Hell was made by EA.

Heaven was made by Crytek and Bethesda, but no one gets in, because all the videogame characters sin in some way. Shame.

I think the barbie games would be the rulers of VG hell... All bad ass heroes would be forced to have little girls doing their make-up each day and riding around on horribly unrealistic ponies.

The nicest, coolest, best game ever. But with a frame rate of 2.
And it would have nothing but glitches everywhere after the first level of hell.
And no save function. I forgot to put that in there...

There would be rabid fanboy's all over the place. These games would have to suffer through their sins of dragged out fetch quests and repetitive level design. And the games would be subject to the torture of angry stupid parents and politicians. Uwe Boll would make the games see themselves as crappy movies. The games would be chained up by the Yaoi succubi and forced into compromising scenarios. And their would be the greatest horror of all, beyond the lake of flamewars and shrieks of fanboys and fangirls, a fate of absolute doom: The Tails Doll.
I'm afraid to see what other hells you could create.

Video game hell is a room containing nothing but two chairs, Peter Molyneux and a Fable 2 demo. For all eternity.

I've been thinking very spiritually in the past few days and I've always wondered... if video games had a sort of 'afterlife' a place where all games go once their franchise has been discontinued or once the console it was on has bit the dust what would it be like?
I imagine that if a franchise was good (Halo, Silent Hill, Half Life, Bioshock, Prince of Persia, Metal Gear Solid, Mario etc) it would go to a nice video game heaven. Where all gameplay is completely glitch free and the graphics are finely detailed and the gaming community is all smart sophisticated witty and caring individuals.
But now I ask what about the logical opposite?
If a franchise was bad and was sent to the lake of fire for video games what would it be like? Would it be populated by the worst consoles like the Virtual boy and the Jaguar? Would hard drives be melting everywhere? Would everything be glitchy and unplayable?
Would Uwe Boll be the Satan of this nightmare?

What do you reckon a video game hell would look like?

(please keep trolling to a minimum, hell has enough fire already without people starting flame wars.)
It would be full of Fanboys

I'm thinking that Game Hell is one room with a computer in it, and the only game you can play is "I Wanna Be The Guy". Each time you die, you're painfully electrocuted. To death. Only to be revived and forced to play again. This process also repeats if you refuse to play or do not move the mouse for over one minute, or simply move your little man back and forth, safely.

... That's seriously scary.

I guess it would be like the typical vision of Hell only the video game characters would be tortured for all eternity based on the flaws in their respective games. For instance:

E.T. would have to play E.T. for the 2600 with one of his hands and the opposite foot missing, along with both of his eyes and one of his ears. The game was rushed out incomplete to release around the same time as the movie, and ever since every movie tie in game has suffered the same fate.

Mario would be chained to a go-kart and forced to drive from place to place within a set time limit but would always barely make it from being blasted with blue and red turtle shells and having squid ink randomly sprayed in his face. Mario Kart Wii, that should be pretty self explanitory.

I can't think of anymore off the top of my head but that's a start.

Video game hell would be some form of a combination of the Blue Screen of Death, the 3 Red Rings of Death, E.T, Chase the Chuckwagon, Jack Thompson, and the PS3

I actually think Hell is a video game. YOu have to battle an endless war and if you get killed you respawn and are forced to keep fighting! Image that! o_O
