What would you choose as your starship name?

I've used quite a number of ship names over the years (EVE) from star names-Al Dhanab, to television references-Pride of Galifrey. I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite though.

I would have a small trading ship called the U.S.S Bait Ann that i would fly though emimey space and then keep my battle ship, the USS SWITCH just out of sight.

USS Revenant if it's a smaller ship. For a dreadnought or battleship I would probably go with USS Minotaur.

If I didn't have to add USS on to the beginning I would probably call it the Floating Leaf. This is an extremely obscure reference and anyone who gets it can be my friend. There is not greater prize.

I chose a theme for naming my ships. I used nautical terms for a while, but I later remembered the perfect name for a science ship - The U.S.S. Antikythera.

It's the PERFECT name for a science ship by its very nature!

USS Nausicaa, greek for "burner of ships"

And USS Ulysses for an exploration vessel.

I was actually thinking of the U.S.S. Archimedes as my next ship name, but that's up in the air right now.
