Ooooooh, I'll be on a government watchlist or two within minutes.
You do know deleting history only deletes the history on your browser.

Your ISP still has access to records of all the sites you've visited.
Ah. Well...damn. It's a good thing I was only joking then, right? *nervous laughter*

That video of post number 108 has opened my eyes to the urgent need of a porn buddy. No - seriously I would probably panic and immediately come up with a thousand of different explanation where all these links to, let's call them unconventional sites came from. I'd even, given the situation, make up an imaginary friend who send all of those inerasable stains on my internet-honor.

Why would anyone be on your PC searching through your history? Just get a password.

I'd just use Private/Incognito mode all the time, as they don't keep a history in the first place. And I see nothing in the OP saying I can't use Private mode, just that I can't delete history.

I don't clear my history anyway. If someone cares enough to check it, and it horrifies them, that's their problem. I have nothing to hide.
Also I'm the only one who knows the password to my desktop, so nobody would be able to get to the web browser in the first place.
I was expecting a time travel thread :p

Pretend I am looking up and liking My Little Pony ironically like every person who isn't into the show thinks we are doing.

I would either do the incognito window
or no more porn searching... actually naw just incognito windows
yeah what of it?

(It is actually not such a big deal. I mean my mum is the only other person to go on my laptop and she just looks up lotto numbers and stocks. and sometimes her email. She is on the computer all day so the last thing she wants to do is be on it even more)

I don't have anything to hide. The worst they can do is see that I Google Image'd Fluttershy last night, or what I read on Literotica a couple days ago.
How would you NOT be ashamed of Literotica?
OT: Haven't deleted my browsing history in months, I'm living on a razor's edge.

I would continue to live like I normally do. I'm the only one on my PC, and if someone else were to look into my history it's not like I got anything bad on it (I think the worst thing I got on it is some of those free-to-play games like Cosmic Break (I think that's the name at least) since I'm occassionally checking those kind of games out).

So yeah, I'm a boring person, what of it? >_>

Why would I be? Erotica is just porn catered to book worms. No more reason to hide it than to hide videos or pictures.

I really wouldn't care that much. In fact, it might actually be good, because it would be a way of sort of forcing people to be a bit more open about themselves. Once everyone opens up and shows how vulnerable and human they are, a lot of the stigmas and fears stop mattering. Everybody has insecurities, everybody has desires, ect. Me and most of my friends are open about the fact that we look at the pronz, and at some point or another, have built up a pronz folder.

And plus, what kind of person would go around snooping through your history and sifting through your computer files? I mean, there's accidents, but I trust that my friends and family wouldn't do that. It's the same as going through someone's mail.

If it ever even came up as a topic I'd look at the person who went to check my browsing history with a disgusted face and say in low voice: "you're such a sad pervert". But well I live alone and am really too old for anyone to check my computer. It'd make me feel violated seriously.
