If it was the Merlin played by Colin Morgan I'd ask where Bradley was at, then tell them to get out of character and just hang out for the day and chill.
First challange him to a fight, and if I win, he teaches me how to cast a simple fire ball, that way in future fights, I can just Hadoken my way to victory.
I would say to him "Hi, how are you?" and just make small talk (I don't think he would teach me magic if I ask him to). Also I would ask his opinion on wizard like characters like Gandalf and Dumbledore.
well i could ask him to teach me magic, but i could go to plenty of historical peoples and ask them to do that for me, so i guess i'd also ask him if he could introduce me to Ayreon.
Because in some of the older forms of the myth, he is trapped in one by his lover
Nimue. Sometimes she does it deliberately, sometimes its an accident, and sometimes she even tries to warn him.

Same here, except I'd ask Colin what he thought about playing L in my British live-action remake of Death Note ;D (you guys think I'm kidding there, don't you? xD), and then I'd ask if Katie (McGrath) could join us too. I have a weakness for Irish girls...
Oh, and instead of asking for a dragon/dinosaur tank I'd just ask for the chance to time travel, that would be much better I reckon...
I have! Or I have met one of about 10 men who; every year at the summer solstice turn up to Stonehenge and claim they are the reincarnation of Merlin. They are all practicing druids, and they all really beleive that they are reincarnations of the great man himself! They all dress in a variety of classic wizard clothes: tunic, and pointy hat/hood! Some have stars on there tunic too. They all have some sort of staff as well!
This is one of the awesome lunatics! It is not the on I met though, as I didn't get a picture of him. I may have seen this one though, as I have seen a few. According to the source I that I got this pic from the woman on picture right is his wife. That is at the 2010 Stonehenge summer solstice! Crazy bloody druids! So strange!
Edit: Is it just me or does merlin look like he has an enormous arm?
