What would you do if you won the lottery?

Buy a private island, build whatever I want over there (including my own playboy mansion), family and friends came come freely any time, I would give some money to some people I know that are in serious moneytrouble, and apart from that, I would do whatever the hell I want.

and then after you blow all your money on this private island, you'll pay for the upkeep, fuel for gennies(cuz how else will you get power?) with what, magic beans? This is the lottery we're talking about, a private island alone will cost you the more than a few hundred million, then you gotta pay to transport all the building supplies there, that's several more million, the actual building costs and terraforming of the island for a mansion would run close to a hundred million, and with the salt air you'd have to be constantly repainting and sealing everything....

As for myself; I'd fund some local businesses, put a nice chunk into a high yield interest bank account(I believe at one million in a 3.3% high yield account you'd make more than thirty thousand a year) and continue to live my life without any massive upscaling of my normal everyday upkeep to satify how I live. I'm pretty happy with my posessions right now, only thing I need is a new car cuz rust is starting to eat through the frame of my current.

What would you buy?
I'd deposit all of it in the account I can find that has the lowest risk with the highest yield. I wouldn't touch a cent of it until I finish my studies and leave home. I COULD leave home before I finish my degree, but that would mean me living by myself and slowly dying from malnutrition, because I wouldn't really take care of myself that well.

Would you share your money?
The day I'm ready to move, I'll take my girlfriends hand, marry her and she can have half straight off the bat. Hell... She can have more than half. She can put it to use better than I can. Beyond a house and a car, there's nothing I'd really want beyond food. I have everything I need already.

Lastly, do you like bacon?
It's ok. The internet has really fucked up bacon for me. I used to think it was pretty good, but now I can't think of bacon without conjuring the image of a thousand 12 year old kids saying BACONBACONBACONBACONBACON. It's tasty. Yeah. But it isn't the basis of a fucking religion.

I'd pay off my loans, buy at least 40 acres of land with a small but comfortable house in the center, have a very small greenhouse built as well as a small building to rehabilitate animals, buy and own at least five pets, take random classes to pick up skills to become more self dependent, buy a bow and some arrows, buy camping gear for outdoor and indoor use (mostly cooking equipment), buy a cheaper and hardy car, put aside at least 12% for charity, and finally put the rest in a bank for whatever else happens.

First I would pay off my student loan, second I would split with my family (and maybe my uncle) but I still got the bigger amount. Third I would move into the city and buy a apartment and fill it with necessary stuff. After that I would live out the way I want it while keeping a careful eyes on the remining cash (I not gonna spend like crazy nor become corrupt by greed).

I would begin to live on the street as a homeless man with access to an unlimited amount of supplies and weapons. Then I would fight crime by night while remaining unsuspecting to the general public; pretty much I would be Batman but homeless.

I'd go to Uni again, knowing I can do very poorly and still be alright. I'd study something like Philosophy where I'd be interested enough in my course to not get kicked off if I put in SOME work. It would be great to meet lots of people again.

Yes, I quite like bacon. Just a pity a lot of it is imported from places that don't treat the piggys very well. It's very nice with tomatoes though =)
