I'd probably throw up instantly and ask them why not rather the damn, barking dog?

On a more serious note, I'd probably just vomit and tell them I was not okay with eating this.

You're at the home of a good friend of yours. Great friend. You love going over to his/her house to hang out. You play video games, watch awesome movies, talk for hours, your friend has a good sense of humor. And your friend is totally normal too. He/she has never done anything really weird before and you have no sense at all that anything unusual will ever take place.

Well, after a round of playing your favorite game, his/her mother says it's time for dinner. You politely offer to leave and let them enjoy their meal. But the mother insists that you stay and you're glad to do so.

You sit down for the meal and there's the usual assortment of vegetables and a meat. You take one bite of the meat and you're unsure what it exactly it is. It's pretty good. It's tender and juicy, in fact, you'd like to know what it is, maybe you could get some more at a store and make your own. So you ask, "What kind of meat is this?"

Without hesitation, just a polite smile, and complete honesty, the mother replies, "It's cat."

You've just been served cat meat by your best friend. What do you do?
say that
" oh, i never would've thought, tastes real good nate, can I hae another piece?"
hes my friend, and it's not repulsive, so why not?
( irony, he has 2 kittens which he loves and adores, in fact he won't flippin leave the things be)

Get pissed and/or freak out and demand they explain themselves. Not sure what I'd do afterwards, though.

I'd leave, I own a cat and i'd just think of my cat being chopped up and eaten, whether I talk to them again I don't know.

If I like the taste, then continue eating. Hell, if they can make food out of the ridiculous amount of cats that hang out in my front yard because my parents keep feeding them, than they officially become my favorite neighbor.

Possibly go into anaphylactic shock. I have a cat allergy but I'm not sure if ingesting cat meat would trigger a reaction.

shrug and if its good and if I'm still hungry and if there's still some left if I can have more.

... What? cat is meat, meat is food. Therefore cat -> food.

However, I cant imagine that a cat would be very good eating. Most dont have much meat on them and I would htink it would be stringy or muscly. Plus all that fur.

Realize for the first time that my friend is Chinese.

Politely excuse myself on the basis that I am allergic to cat.

(I'm not really, but I'm not gonna go through with this.)

One question. Is my friend Chinese?

...Just kidding haha, I probably wouldn't care that I'm eating cat as long as it isn't dirty. It's just meat, not a solid brick of pestilence.

If it tasted good and it's already dead. I'd just continue eating it. Wouldn't really bother me. Probably because I don't like cats :).

if you were able to eat it unknowingly and think it tastes good, whats the point of freaking out? As long as you didn't have a personal connection to the beast, who cares?

I'd, eat? Cat is actually pretty good, perhaps a bit bitter I find, but tasty nontheless.
