What would you like to see Nintendo do with it$ Money?

Well, it is no secret that Nintendo now holds the planet in a stranglehold of dominant sales, and ridiculous games. But my question is: What should they do with their money?

This isn't about solely a new console, but could be anything you think they should do with their money. be it buy a company, start making cars, whatever. I am interested to see what people would like to see Nintendo do. Just don't expect them to cater to us, the forgotten core gamers.

Myself I would like to see them do a couple of things:

1. Reacquire Rare
2. Release a seperate console opposite to the Wii that appeases the people that got pissed about the curent game plan of Nintendos
3. Give out free peripherals, such as the wii motion plus, which is just an attachment that makes the wii-mote do what it was supposed to from launch.

how about they make a console thats not got only 1 main feature, and thats the ability to play games by wazing your arms about, also how about some games that dont range from 6 - 6 and a half years, yes i have a wii and occasionlly play it with friends when in "one of those moods" but its just rubbish any other time

I'd like to see them develop actual dedicated servers for it's multiplayer games.
Out of the games that deserved good online Brawl really got the shaft.

Inlude extra features for VC in general. A lot of whats on it would really benefit from online.

What'd be the point? If anything they should have acquired Free Radical Design... but Crytek got there first, so they're Crytek UK now.

Oh, come on, not the "GBA2" talk all over again!

They'd just compete with themselves and spread the software library even thinner.

I can't recall Sony ever giving me any free stuff when their PS1 and PS2 were the most successful video game consoles ever.

Hell, some people were "forced" to replace their PS1 controllers not only once, but twice. From the original controllers to Dual Analog to Dual Shock.

And since it doesn't (I had one I know how well it doesn't work) they should have delayed launch until it does. How's about going back to the hardcore fans, instead of re-releasing every single friggin' game that managed to do 'well' with the casual crowd? With the money they spent making Animal Crossing over four times, while never really changing anything, they could've made something really, really spectacular.

They should give out Wiis and DSs and those consoles' games to people who can't afford it.

Also, they can't just make better games with money.
That needs good studios and talent.

They can't make a new console, 'cause it needs good ideas to succeed.
Only money won't help here.

Ya know, I really REALLY liked my Wii when I got it. It was awesome. Then, I played it for a year and it really lost its appeal for me...so I picked up a 360. The only time I've turned on my Wii since then has been to play Brawl with my friends.

Its really the lack of "mature" games that began to bore me, I never even finished Metroid Prime 3, and Metroid is my favorite franchise of all time!

2. By Square Enix, get Final Fantasy back.

The big question is WHY? Why isn't the potential being reached? Who do we blame for it? How do we fix it? C'mon Sony I have been waiting years for a good reason to buy a PS3 (MGS4 is not a reason for me). And I have no interest in a blu ray player for movies (dvd player works fine).

Spend money on dev teams to come up with a new franchise that happens to be as catchy as any of the dead ones they keep spewing up.

It might be fairly vague as statements go, but come on, other companies can release new serieses (serii?), or at the very least remake an older one. Golden Sun would be nice on the Wii, for example, or the DS.

Well I was talking about the Wii when I said that. The biggest problem is just that third parties look at the Wii and see it to be something to not take seriously. So they just slap motion control on an idea without any thought put in.

kill (or maybe just fire) the employees that insist on designing the same old titles with a new look and a higher number at the end or the crossover games that include some of their classic characters from different games fighting together against evil... I don't want to see Mario Party 36 (NOW WITH SAMUS!) or Mario & Luigi Crossing, or Super Smash Bros. : OMFG LETS ADD MORE OBSCURE CHARACTERS, or Animal Crossing Old folks home, or Legend of Zelda : Masked Ocarinas of Twilight, or Super Mario 18 : Princess Peach puts out!

I want more hardcore games. I haven't played my Wii in months because there is just nothing compelling me to pick up my Wiimote again...

Although, House of the Dead: Overkill looks cool so I might check that out.

I think i'd like to see another Mario DS game like New Super Mario Bros.
