Nothing really, I never quite understood martyrdom and trying to solve a problem by throwing away your life sounds like a terrible solution which should only be reserved for Hollywood movies and also the end of videogames where they just need a way to make you stop playing.

It depends on the circumstances. If it was to save someone I cared about, or someone who's existence was integral to the survival of those I cared about.
