Ah, I was talking about the comics rather than the movies. It's taken her many, many years to get to the point she has in the comics, and some pretty life changing events, but I guess from a certain point of view she did show some development in the second X-Men movie. She was able to deliberately grab Pyro by the ankle and use his powers to put out the fires during the confrontation with the police at Bobby's house.Rachel317 said:Oh...are we talking comic X Men or movie? 'Cos I've only seen the movies...and she was pretty much in turmoil with her powers so...Rogue 9 said:As someone else said, Rogue has full control of her power now and is actually pretty awesome. At one point recently she took on the powers of about seven of the young x-men at once, and ripped this genetically engineered mutant hunting monster called a Predator X apart, all on her own. But still, her power's not that great a pick if there aren't other mutants around to leech off.
But I'm in love with Anna Paquin, so I won't have a bad word said about her!!! Other than by me...on gaming forums...
I know she's meant to be a youngling in the movies, but why didn't they show some development of her skills? I mean, Pyro learnt how to use fire better, even Wolverine grew as a fighter. So...why was Rogue the only one not to? She seemed pretty helpless all the way through. Even nearly dying at one point...
Nate Grey might be a better choice, all of the godlike power, minus the techno organic infection or does the OP's rule about adamantium negate that?Firefly131 said:"big gun" my friend you clearly don't know Cable, takes Jean Grey's awesome psychic ability and multiply it to the point where he has his citadel floating around the world whilst destroying everything that's thrown at him, (including deadpool...sort of) and being badass at the sametime! I digress I chose Cable...he's super effective!Sieg Firebrand said:Does 'BIG GUN' count as a superpower?Boris Goodenough said:Cable.
Considering a lot of abilities are powered by the energy from other universes/dimension, like Cyclop's eye punches from the punch dimension, I think that wouldn't be a problem with Wolverine. If not that he may have a super efficient manner of absorbing energy from food or another lame excuse (like Death stopping him from dying from Nitro's blast).McNinja said:Also, the amount of energy Wolverine body must need in order to operate at peak capacity... He must eat like a dozen huge meals a day, or else his body would consume all of his muscle. In fact, anyone with his powers, or any physically demanding super-power, such as super-strength or agility, would have to eat massive amounts of food a day.
It's funny, when you add reality into comics, things get messed up.
Well if deadpool is in the x-men universe, then I would say he beats nightcrawler..... I mean he can teleport and has a healing factor.instantbenz said:nightcrawler's ability ... i know it's been said but it's just ... the best.
His teleport is always tech-based, his healing factor is artifical (derived from Wolverine) and Deadpool's never really been an X-man (unless you count that time he wore Rachel Summer's old costume), so neither actually match the OP's question. Arggh I've been reading too many comics...Punisher A.J. said:Well if deadpool is in the x-men universe, then I would say he beats nightcrawler..... A century and half roughly I think, there's a lot of contention of the nuking, I think currently the writers retconned something involving death (as the physical embodiment which is a chick in the marvel universe) not letting him die then, it was pretty lame. Most of the time he wouldn't survive a nuking.Flour said:Wolverine.
I remember something about a comic where he got nuked and regenerated. Isn't he also a few centuries old?

Yeah I thought about that. The only thing that puts me off about comics is that they make up the most random stuff in order for their characters to actually be feasible.WolfThomas said:Considering a lot of abilities are powered by the energy from other universes/dimension, like Cyclop's eye punches from the punch dimension, I think that wouldn't be a problem with Wolverine. Well the exact explanation was something like that his body absorbed energy from the sun that in turn actived special apertures in his eyes that diverted energy from another universe/dimension . It never sat right with me so I generally ignored it, but basically every energy creating hero has the other dimension as energy excuse in the marvel universe.McNinja said:Yeah I thought about that. Also, I has no idea that Cyclops got his powers from another dimension. Also also, mutations do not work that way. Talk about reality messing things up...
Sorry to be a drag, but her powers don't work that way, while she might be able to copy something physical like claws or wings, she can't copy powers like telekinesis for example.dragonslayer32 said:it would have to be mistique; then i could change to anyother superhero and have their powers.
still, this meants i can have wolverine WITH adamantium bones.WolfThomas said:Well the exact explanation was something like that his body absorbed energy from the sun that in turn actived special apertures in his eyes that diverted energy from another universe/dimension .
