I have nicknames for all my friends (and chairs!), so I usually call them that...

I use "person" and "you guy" alot for people I don't know as well.

I usually say "mate" or "man" if I'm talking to a guy. If I'm in a conversation with a girl I use their name.

Recently I started calling people "Bud." Just sprung out of nowhere, never heard anyone else say that at all.

"Dude" is an old standard for me. I use "bro" when I want to see my boyfriend cringe. Sometimes "fool" or "friend." I think I'll start using "lad" for my male friends, see how that works.

I call everyone Dave. It's easier than trying to actually remember the name of whoever's throwing their 'blah blah blah' at me, and lets them know in an amusing way that I really don't care about them whatsoever.
Well, if you knew me in real life, it would be a convenience to you, and me as well, as my name is David.

I used to call all my friends "Comrade" with a mild Russian accent...

Dude.
Squire.
[x]-Dawg or [x]-Train. (Where x is first letter of persons name)
Man.
Bitchlips.

That's about all of them I say without thinking about it.

Well, we can't have that. From this day forward, you shall be known as Hiram.
Hmm. How about Sir Charles Upscalington?

I work in a cafe seemingly populated entirely by old ladies and I've found laying on ye olde north east England charm a bit thick tripples my tip income even though I look like the lovechild of Alan Moore and Jabba the Hutt.

Favourites include. Mate, dove, chuck, duck, dear, love, darlin', sweetheart and guv.

In normal day conversaion that would make me sound like the sleaziest mother fucker on the planet and my mom certainly wouldn't aprove but the old biddies love it.

I swear a *lot*, and that tends to work it's way into how I greet people; at the moment I commonly refer to people as 'dickbitch' or 'dickfag', but it changes every few weeks.

YOU MAY NOT CHOOSE! Well, how about Sir Hiram Upscalington?
Yeah, sure. I can deal with that.

"Mate". Everything is "mate". My roommate is "mate", my mum is "mate", the bus driver is "mate", hell, my dog is "mate".
