I work in a cafe seemingly populated entirely by old ladies and I've found laying on ye olde north east England charm a bit thick tripples my tip income even though I look like the lovechild of Alan Moore and Jabba the Hutt.

Favourites include. Mate, dove, chuck, duck, dear, love, darlin', sweetheart and guv.

In normal day conversaion that would make me sound like the sleaziest mother fucker on the planet and my mom certainly wouldn't aprove but the old biddies love it.
Ahh a true gentleman should I ever find myself working in a café I'll be sure to take those into consideration, I like Dove but it sounds silly when I say it. Maybe it has to be a Northern English accent?

Dude on occasion. Also Man. Except when its a girl, then I call her by her name. Also some swearing is involved for friends: Bastard and fucker is pretty common. We also use nicknames quite often.

I don't really have a specific one, but I call my family member and friends "Commies" (No offense to any Communists) and people who piss me off "Princes."

Ever since I came to America, I've been using expressions like "dude" and "bro" to my new American male friends. To my female American friends I mostly call them by their name but if I know them well I call them "love" (ya know like Jack Sparrow does) or cher, and sometimes simply "girl". However I have spent some time in England so I do say "mate" sometimes.

"Hey you" usually gets the job done. I will occasionally use "friendo." One guy is "Twinkie."

And I almost never refer to my male friends by their first names.

Gov, Brosef, Dude, Son, Man, Champ, Chief, Boss, Comrade, sir/ma'am, that guy/girl, Hey You (with the face/nose/ears/arms/feet/zyphoid), lad/lass, m'dear, etc.

Not all with everyone, sometimes just sarcastically as well.

I generally call everyone "dude" or "big guy" because I suck at remembering names.
