I got the Dark Knight 2 Disc Limited Edition Batman Mask Thing with Over 9000 hours of bonus material which I will watch right down to the commentaries. I also got the entire Band of Brothers series and a 25$ gift certificate to Future Shop. I dunno about you guys but, my Christmas is pretty awesome!

I got a one-way ticket to New York city. Needless to say, I am not going. I dislike long flights.
Aaaaaaeeeeoooooowwwww

Again, that was me yowling.

NYC is the most interesting city I've ever been to in the US- it's like the entire world in miniature. So many forms of art and food and culture.....And it just feels real there. I mean, when compared to something like Los Angeles, which feels like a big and sunny dream.

Plus, there's Broadway in all of its splendour......

You should definitely try to stomach a long flight for NYC- you'll not regret it.

EDIT: Then again, I'm a musician, so that might account for why I'm all in love with New York......

I got a couple of Xbox games (the new prince, Mirror's Edge and Bioshock), S.T.A.L.K.E.R for the PC (an oldie but a goodie), some sweet Skullcandy headphones, an aftershave sample box thingy with a coupon for a big version of whichever one I like the most, Heroes season 1 on DVD and a couple of student cookbooks, because my relatives have done nothing but laugh at my inability to cook anything other than pasta whilst I've been at uni :)

A pretty good year this year ^_^

Edit: Time zones are really weird, It's been christmas day for 20 hours now where I live, and all you Northies (That's the term I just made up fer all you fellows in the Northern Hemisphere) haven't even started it yet.
It doesn't matter that we're in the Northern Hemisphere, it's that we live East of the International Date Line. If we lived in Japan or Samoa or the Phillippinnes, it would be Christmas already.
Yes, but I wasn't adressing them, as they number somewhere in the low double digits.

Edit: I just checked, there are 6 people in Japan, no people in Samoa and 7 people in the Philippines.
How did you check that?

If you're right, and when I get there I do have the time of my life, I am going to find your house and give you whatever I buy at the gift shops.

If you're wrong, however, i'll still be giving you whatever I bought. It'll just be going in an uncomfortable place. And i'll make sure to buy something extra long, extra pointy, and 12 inches in circumference.

I'm kidding. I LOVE BROADWAY! NYC HERE I COME! Whenever it would seem prudent to go. Of which I am unsure. What's the best time of year?

May. That's one of the best times I can think of. That's just when the weather's beginning to become tolerably warm over there in the Northeast, but it's before the hordes of people start arriving. Win-win, really.

Just make sure to have an itinerary before you go- without one, there's so much stuff to see that you'll be wracked with indecision.

Don't take my word for it, though- I've only visited there a few times...

EDIT: Oh, and make sure to visit a jazz club while you're there....Beyond fantastic.......
