I got a new golf bag, a new set of golf clubs, new golf shoes, new golf balls, a digital scorekeeper, $110 in golf course gift cards, $270 cash, a new personalized jacket, and a few new blue-ray movies. I took up golf a while back so I got a lot of new golf stuff as you can see.

Haven't opened any from my mom's side of the family, my dad's side gave me:

Grandparents: A book (not pwnage), a shirt that says Tucson (pronounced TOO-san [city in Arizona]), and a Target gift card.

Dad: a football.

My mom's side's gifts are probably nothing special since she didn't send my list to everyone T~T been on the computer bein bored for about a week, finally get to go to mom's house and open 90% of my presents Sunday. Sucks for me.

Nothing. At all XD

I'm not unloved! I'm just on exchange in a foreign country! Nevermind, I have been promised many gifts upon my return. And I'm going to buy myself a PSP.....with government money...technically a present.

A certificate for RB2 when it finally drags its sorry ass to a store around here...
Some pjama pants, all nice and warms.
iPod touch cover.
Towels and sheets FTW! Tho my towel then was pretty dead, and my sheets are kinda gross.
Muse T-shirt, W00t! T-shirt, Come to the dark side, we have cookies... T-shirt.
Assorted long-sleeve T-shirts.
Keyboard tie, which I promptly traded with the giver for his gift tie. My family's cool like that.
Anansi Boys and Smoke and Mirrors, by Neil Gaiman.
Money.
Euros for a trip I'm going on to Spain in June.
Disc by the California Guitar Trio.
Spanish phrase-a-day calendar.
And, since I asked for a car, some wise guy gave me a brand-new, sparkling Hot Wheels.
Good times as well. And cookies.

I got a hangover.
My christmas day breakfast was 3 painkillers and a pint of juice, followed by a bit of moaning and complaining the wrapping paper was too bright

I feel for ya!

I'm kidding. I LOVE BROADWAY! NYC HERE I COME! Whenever it would seem prudent to go. Of which I am unsure. What's the best time of year?
May. That's one of the best times I can think of. That's just when the weather's beginning to become tolerably warm over there in the Northeast, but it's before the hordes of people start arriving. Win-win, really.

Just make sure to have an itinerary before you go- without one, there's so much stuff to see that you'll be wracked with indecision.

Don't take my word for it, though- I've only visited there a few times...

EDIT: Oh, and make sure to visit a jazz club while you're there....Beyond fantastic.......
i was there end of sept-start of oct and it was pretty bangin temperature wise. If you fancy a good breakfast theres a great cafe i think called the "cable car cafe" by the cable car station on 60th street. Just head up to 60th and go east. (nearest subway is lexington av/59th st)

The itinery idea is a must though, i ended up spending maybe 3 weeks there cumulative and found i was in the same places a lot and missed many things.

Also if you head down on the 1 or 9 train to south ferry you can head accross to staten island, it itself is not an amazing place but the ferry ride is worth it and its FREE!!!

Didn't get any christmas presents (I don't celebrate it), but I did get the complete DAAS Kapitaal season 1 and 2, as well as The Chaser's CNNNN dvds as early b'day pressies.

[Edit] Huh, wow, it seems like my daas kapitaal dvd has been autographed by one of them. I thought it was just part of the regular dvd slip, but checking the abc's online store and calling one of them to confirm shows that his signature isn't normally there. Sweet!
