Don't have a PS3. Wii and PC gamer only and I wouldn't mind adding Xbox to that.

I suppose in the PS3 downtime, I'll have to find someone with a PS3 and mock them in person. hahaha. Either that or go back to playing L4D2 and mock the same people because Valve won't release games for PS3.

Okay, I'm done now. :p

As I've just said in another thread, simply unplug your wireless router before you turn your PS3 on. Problem solved :D

I would go play, but I've started suffering from symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome, and gaming aggravates it.

Mine doesn't seem to be suffering the issues at all. I have a fat PS3 purchased a little more than a year ago at a Circuit City liquidation. No glitches, the time and date are fine, I went to the store, downloaded a random demo to test it, then went online and played a few BioShock 2 MP matches. No issues for me.

But, due to my wrist, I can't play, so I'm making some dumplings.

I never owned a PS3. For now, I'll be playing some Wii and PS2 and surviving midterms and airsoft battles.

I sold it for a 360.

I bought Ghostbusters, Destroy All Humans 3, and Bayonetta but I took that back before the opening cutscene was finished playing.

My PS3's still working, even though it's a fatty, so I'm gonna play me some games and laugh at you guys *cackles maniacally*
[small]sorry sorry sorry[/small]

If it did go down though I'd sit in a corner and weep, furiously writing letters of complaint to Sony...or you know, read a book or something.

Just out of interest does anyone else have a fat ps3 that's still working? I'd like to know how smug to feel right now.

Well the PS3 is ka-put world-wide.
It's only for the fat PS3. PS3 slim works fine.
The PS3 fat is dead? What? When did this happen? Did they all shut down randomly or something?
/me is very confused and decides to google it.
Well I guess this means my roommates can't hog my PS3 all day....

I'll probably be using my 360 until this blows over. I really, really hope this gets dealt with soon--I've been waiting for BF:BC2 for a while now, and I didn't make it this far to fail now.

As an aside, I find it immensely funny that my PS3 has suffered a (hopefully temporary) bricking before my 360. Oh, the irony...

I thought the down-time was only affecting PSN? Anyway, I'll probably play my PS3 games without online support. or maybe some Ps2 games like Timesplitters. or maybe I should go outside and work on getting a job and a girlfriend....

Meh, I think I'll play games.

Perhaps I'll read from my Sherlock Holmes collection, or the copy of Atlas Shrugged I picked up after playing both Bioshocks back to back.
