Does not exist.
The companies set out to make money and there are companies that want to make fans happy, but their first concern - is making money.
Unless they're indie. Or insane.

I think Bungie is pretty fun with it's community. I don't know what the standard on this sort of thing is, though.

I'd say Valve. I'm a console gamer, and even I have respect.

Also I'd like to say Blizzard, because they always put out a quality product, but WoW is a pool of gaming malevolence.

I have to agree with this, although a developer i felt that loved its fans was Free Radical Design. But they where still in it for money.

Valve?

Now, let the long stream of people telling me how wrong i am begin!

In all seriousness i've seen a few companies who are able to tolerate, and at times reach out to there fanbase, but as Journeythroughhell said, a company is a company.

Valve. Without a doubt.

Possibly BioWare, but we'll see with their upcoming MMO (I have yet to get the sense from their other games that they just want to swim around in money - but they actually enjoy making good games).

Valve and Bungie have been pretty good to their fans. Valve for releasing amazing games and free DLC (at least for the PC) and Bungie for interacting with their community all the time.

DICE is good to, but a little "eh".

In before Val- godammit.

Valve is a company like all others but they give free DLC which the fans are now taking for granted, they're just explaining why they implement certain game mechanics and then the fans think they're being let in on some super game making secrets.

No company 'loves' their fans, but I guess Capcom understands my needs as a man. Yeah Ibuki1

All of them, of course. Everybody loves to have fans, and everybody loves you if you're a fan of theirs.

Valve is most likely to appear a lot in this thread, and for good reason.

Make no mistake. All games companies are there to make money, despite all the PR.

Indie game developers are most likely closer to the fans.

Sorry, guys, but why is everyone saying Valve?
As far as most of their games interest me (and that is - machinima purposes), they have been pretty fucking evil, and their lack of willingness to take actions similar to the ones by Microsoft in this are make them pretty stingy.

Valve seems to really care about its fans. I think Bioware also cares about its fans.
