Valve is most likely to appear a lot in this thread, and for good reason.
Noted and seconded. And thirded.

They've always been great to me. Giving me high quality products, free continuing support for their games and a constant line of communication. I'm a fanboy I guess.

Bioware is also on the short list. It's hard to say how much they love their fans but it's pretty apparent that they love what they do. They make some of the most complex games around, taking years to do so knowing that a game like Call of Duty is going to come along with a fraction of the effort and love and sell billions more.

But they still do it. Bioware LOVES rpgs. I love them.

Bungie is does good with it's fans MOST of the time, but they get screwed over by Microsoft way too often.

I'm a fanboy, So I'll have to side with Valve. I understand that they are just out there to make a lot of money like any other corporation, but I feel that they actually listen to their clients instead of telling their clients to listen to them.

Does not exist.
The companies set out to make money and there are companies that want to make fans happy, but their first concern - is making money.
Unless they're indie. Or insane.
I have to agree with this, although a developer i felt that loved its fans was Free Radical Design. But they where still in it for money.
Bungie is in it for the money, but they are very personal with their fans. Can a developer not love both their fans and the fans' money?

Bioware, You could pull the 'Day 1 DRM' argument, but damn it, it's good DRM.

Apart from that, they've always tried to give the fans everything they ask for, and so far, they haven't let me down at least. Every game they've made has been a masterpiece.

Bioware. I just feel like they enjoy making quality games.
Amen and hallelujah.
Bioware, easy.

Sure, every company is out to make money (It is a business after all), but I think you can really tell the difference between the companies who are shoveling out ho-hum titles for the sake of money, and those who take the time to bring a game to life and make it great.
Bioware is absolutely one of those developers.

Naughty Dog. The amount of time and effort they put into the Uncharted series really shows that they want to make the best game that they can for their fans.

Mmm, I'd have to say Blizzard and Valve. Most definitely Valve. Both companies work their asses of for their players.

Santa Monica Stuidos

They ended the first God of War with a definate ending, and when it did well, they made a sequel that kept the core gameplay strong and improved on it, and with the 3rd game they've made a game that doesn't worry about loading between start and levels, and made it look so wonderful that it's tearjerkingly fantastic.

Plus from the interviews, it seems that they want to take a break and put the series down for a bit...they may want the money, but they don't seem to be sacrificing their humanity to do so
