All three 'Lord of the Rings' movies. You wouldn't believe how much shit they get around my friends.

Aside from that I have to admit that 'Pirates of the Carribean' 2 and 3 are very cleverly written. But you need to watch all three movies in a short time span and you must already know how it ends. Seriously, this makes the movies much better.

And then there's 'X-Men 3' which I found very enjoyable. Maybe it's because I don't know the comics.

I don't know about "hate" per se, more like people haven't heard of it, but one of my favourite films is "Stuart saves his family". I also like Donnie Darko, even though a lot of my friends disliked it and I didn't completely hate "Silent hill" even though I was made to watch it by my brother who loves the film, and usually films that my brother makes me watch I tend to dislike usually, but "Silent Hill" had its merits.

The Matrix TRILOGY.

Yup, 2 & 3, too.

Not so much the video games, but the Animatrix was alright.

I don't get why everyone hated The Happening. Everyone seems dissappointed by the plants being the cause, but the whole point of that movie was that no one knew the cause. Plants were just the last explaination that the heroes got, and they rolled with it. I don't think it's a masterpiece, but it's definitely an interesting idea.

Silent hill ? I thought that was a brilliant movie.

The Resident evil series ? I really don?t know why people hate these, Zombies + monsters + awesome Fight screens+ Milla Jovovich = 1 ½ hours of awesomeness.

Clash of the Titans ? People don?t seem to understand that any movie with Liam Neeson saying ?RELISE THE KRAKEN? is freaking awesome.

OT: Ummm....I guess I don't really have any movies that are on topic. I have the opposite with the DBZ movie. Some of my friends liked it and I absolutely hated it. I'll try and think of some on topic movies.

Captcha: Envoca 253. That sounds really cool, actually.

Easy, Cloverfield. I enjoyed it, so don't tell me 'it had no plot'. I've had this argument before, and he was an idiot.
I thought cloverfield was awesome too but all of my friends either got sick or thought it was bad cuz the monster only came out at the very end/wasnt godzilla.

I thought that Napoleon Dynamite was a great movie. I thought that it knew what it wanted to be and pulled it off with flying colours, but everyone I seem to talk to about it hates it.

Silent hill,
I dig it even if it doesn't follow the game.

Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skulls.
I don't care how many people say it raped their childhood. I love it.

Barely any of my friends like The Big Lebowski.

Weirdos.
Who the heck are you people hanging around with?! These are some of the best films ever made!

OT:
Uhh... Short Circuit...? Although my friends actually just hadn't heard of it...

Well, my favourite film ever might be Rocky II. I'm not saying people hate on it, just a lot of my friends either won't give it a chance, or think I'm an idiot for not preferring the first one.

MacGruber was a brilliantly stupid action movie parody. I don't think I have ever laughed harder than I did during those sex scenes.

Waterworld. though it has to be the extended version which no one seems to have the patience to watch..
I love that movie, but I had no idea there was an extended version. Must... Find... DVD....

I enjoyed that one too. I think the people who didn't enjoy it didn't get that the series was always about the quest, never about the object they were on the quest for -- you'd think they'd get it after The Last Crusade, but apparently not.

OT: Not only do I like Star Trek TMP, 3, and 6, but they're my favorites in the series. Liking 1 and 3 is weird on it's own, but preferring them to 2 and 4? A lot of trekkies would consider that blasphemy. 6, of course, is my favorite in the series, followed by TMP, and then 3.

I also, lord help me, honestly enjoyed the Star Wars Holiday Special. What can I say? As bad as it was, it was still better than most attempts at making a Christmas special. Besides, the scene where the stormtrooper rips the head off of Lumpy's stuffed bantha remains the saddest thing I've ever seen on something made for television.

The Saw series, I love them. I admit that they got bad during the middle ones, like 4 and 5.
But then they got a lot better (in my opinion anyway.)
But yeah, I normally find a lot of people who hate them yet I love them.
