The Fifth Element (Luc Besson Directing, with Jean Paul Gualtier let loose on costume design, set in the future, AND Millia Jovovich with red hair wearing next to nothing!)
The Matrix Trilogy (Probably more for the hours of discussions it's lead me to have about sentience and philosophy.)
Donnie Darko (Not the directors cut for once, i thought it made things too obvious while the theatrical version was like a meta game where you had to go do research afterwards.)
S. Darko (Don't know why it bombed so badly.)
Sunshine (Everyone i know thought it was awful. It made me cry twice. In a good way.)
Watchmen (All my friends hated it. They are no longer my friends.)
Alien Vs. Predator series (Just a bit of fun, really.)
Spiderman 2 (The only genuinely good one, in my opinion.)
Solaris (Found it very moving and interesting.)
2001; A Space Odyssey (My friends are philestines.)
Patlabor 2 (It's a political intrigue story with mecha!)
Dune (The David Lynch Version. Epic, just Epic.)
Doctor Who (My friends think it's stupid, i make sure i'm watching it live every week.)
Casshern (Apparently it was indescipherable. I thought it was the closest live action could get to an anime.)
Twelve Monkeys (Just awesome. Pure, unadulterated awesome.)
I'm sure there's a tonne more.
i seem to like things everybody else hates. And i usually watch it first, *then* find out everybody hates it.
