Also I didn't hate Silent Hill.
Didn't hate = love?

If yes, then I agree - I frickin' loved that movie.

Also, In Bruges. None of my friends seem to like it too much, but I thought it was a masterpiece.
In Bruges is awesome, i love that movie!

I loved Pandorum but everyone I know hates it.
Loved that movie. Too bad I can't say that everyone I know hates it, because everyone I know doesn't even know of it in the first place.

Me?
Future Cops. Yup, Future Cops. Best movie ever.

Waterworld. though it has to be the extended version which no one seems to have the patience to watch..
I don't know if I've seen the extended version or not. I saw it on Netflix, and I thought it was pretty cool.

Heavy Metal 2000: it's not exactly a good film, but it has one thing that sets it in a league of its own. Heavy Metal 2000 has a cocksucking space fish. Yes, I'm serious, it comes out of nowhere and I haven't seen anything as funny since The Merchant of Venice.

Also, the dialogue's pretty damn good, for example:

"How could you miss a 6 foot ***** with a talking rock!?"

Alright, time to douse myself in gasoline and dance around a bonfire.

I loved Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. LOVED it.

Also Atlantis: the Lost Empire.

And many others, I'm sure.

Braveheart is great, I'm not sure why I like it so much. Him shouting 'FREEDOM' at the end is so cliche yet awesome at the same time. And I agree with everyone else saying Black Hawk Down was awesome. Legolas got taken out 5 minutes into the fight! Those somolians mean business, brah.

Final Fantasy: Spirits Within.
Equilibrium was quite good, too.
I find it odd that people mention stuff like Avatar, that has actually won genuine awards and grossed so much money it's embarrasing to even think about. Suffice to say, if you like a movie like that and your friends don't, you're not the odd man out. At least not on a bigger scale, where thingsa actually count.

Lastly, Tank Girl. I bought it for $2 at a second hand store, having never heard of it before. In general I like comics-made-movies like Spider-Man, Watchmen and Tank Girl because I don't really care about the comics to begin with. Same with X-men, which my girlfriend hates because she watched the cartoons as a kid. Dunno which is closer to official canon, but the movies are decent flicks, so fuck it.

Alien: Resurrection. Part of me is cringing at even admitting to it. I blame it on Winona Ryder. She is just to cute in it.

Spiderman 3. I rather enjoyed Peter Parker running around acting like a big shot. For some reason no one else seems to get the obvious humor and just go HURRRR THAT MOVIE R DUMB.

Well... I didn't hate the Silent Hill movie. I thought it was actually pretty good (for what it was) until about halfway through. I think it lost focus.

Oh, also Spiderman 3 and Indiana Jones 4.

Spiderman 3 was mindless, yes, but it was at least entertaining. Also, the action sequences and Sandman were pretty kickass.

Indy 4 was a movie I had no idea anyone would hate. I don't really buy the fact that there are aliens, but I don't really care. I thought it was a great finale. I just have to hope that they don't make a spinoff about Shia LaBeouf as Indy's son.

Cruel Intentions, Hackers, and Empire Records.

They all have garnered critical scorn, but it's also true they are ironically loved geek classics. Empire Records is incredibly quotable despite it being incredibly trite.

Battlefield Earth... I still like it even though the nostalgia critic tore it down for me...
