Virtua Quest 2

-Continues from where the previous game left off, main story-wise...
-Improves the custom combat mechanics...
-May or may not have a level-up system... (and no "middle ground" like in the previous game...[footnote]Seriously, if the game's going to force me to "level-up" to the next rank to continue anyway, you don't NEED a level-up system... especially if there's barely any gameplay benefits like how Dark Souls does it, kinda...[/footnote])
-More virtual soul moves to choose from...
-Virtua Fighter team-ups...
-A use for the air bike subplot from the previous game...

Oh yeah... This game was never going to exist in the first place because barely anyone remembers Virtua Quest unless you know your Virtua Fighter history or something like that...

A sequel to Dust: An Elysian Tail. Whether it is a direct sequel or takes place in the same world, i want more of it. Whenever Dean Dodrill makes a new one,be it 1 year or 5, i will buy it immediately.

Jade Empire 2 and KOTOR 3 would be my picks.

We never saw something so unique as the former and I just want a proper ending to the latter instead of what we got.

Am I allowed to list Star Wars Battlefront 3 here? I know they're making one now, but everytime that happens the company closes down or something bad.

I'd really like to see an official Timesplitters: Future Perfect sequel.

Having the tiniest of hopes that Notch's shiny new couple billion something dollars would give him enough capital and confidence to invest in a Psychonauts sequel.

Also those because I loved flying around punching and kicking people in the face with my mad martial art skills and KOTOR 3 because I agree an ending would be nice.

Agreed. Frankly, there aren't a lot of RPG's set in east Asia(or anywhere else in Asia, really) and I really liked Jade Empire.

Also, KOTOR3 to make up for the mess that was KOTOR2.

Can I get a good sequel to Golden Sun: TLA please?

I mean...Dark Dawn is okay. But it just never provided the same feeling as TLA at all.

Also, make a Shadow of Mordor sequel that focuses a bit more on the story and expands a bit more instead of trying to wrap it all up in a couple of missions right at the end of the game.

As an aside, this is my 1000th post.

Yay, other people who like things I do!

What to add? Well, it's going to happen at some point, but whatever they do next with Mass Effect. It won't necessarily be good, but with how they handled things it really feels like they locked themselves out of doing a direct continuation of the series, so I really want to see where they'll go with the franchise next, and whether they can transition to a new story and cast within the same broad universe successfully. Will it be a prequel, a sequel, how will they do it? I mean, the most disappointing thing would be them doing a cop-out, overwriting ME3 and have everyone live and have old gang, new adventures, but it feels like they've made that unlikely to happen.

Oh, and also eventually the Last of Us, because I really enjoyed it and think there's a lot of unexplored potential in the scenario. Either a direct sequel or a story with different characters would be welcome, but unlike some, I think a direct sequel is entirely viable and perhaps a better choice - that game is about Joel and Ellie's relationship, and if they take it in new and interesting directions, then that's something I'd really enjoy getting into.

Nothing. And here's why, we now live in an age where the natural tendency of publishers/developers is to take what was good and royally screw it up in the sequel/next installment. And that's not exclusive to games either. So I now approach any new addition to a franchise I enjoy with tremendous amounts of trepidation as opposed to excitement.

I really liked Jade Empire, so I wouldn't mind some more of that. I think it's the only Western action-RPG of it's kind, and I think there's still a lot of ground to break there with the moves and combat system.

I'd like to see a sequel to Bushido Blade on PS2, that was a fantastic 3D sword-fighting sim (I call it a sim because it is more than an arcade slasher), although it was very arcadey in control and setting it was fantastically engaging with the different stances and weapons, and one slash could end the whole bout. There was a great array of Japanese bladed weapons with proper names and (I think) proper application. You could even do cheaty little moves like toss a dagger, and your fighter could become incapacitated and have to fight with one arm. Lot's of tension.

I also liked Vanquish a lot, and such a fast-paced spectacle shooter, it's like Bayonetta with mechs and guns and I loved it. I think it was even made by the same studio.

But I'll have to agree with the fellow above that sequels aren't always good and tend to be worse than what spawned them, so it's a bit of a gamble with any. I tend to prefer totally new IP, unless, unsurprisingly, the sequels are more of the same. Rarely do we get something totally new and awesome that it can stand on it's own (like Doom 3 or Half-life 2). The successful ones at least to me are games that stand on a formula that works whether you like it or not, Resistance, Uncharted, that sort of thing. Or incremental improvements like Gran Turismo and Forza.

Mirror's Edge gosh darn 2.
I know it's being made sort of, if you consider showing no progress except once every E3 "production."
C'mon DICE, step it up, Battlefield will still be there when you get back, make Mirror's edge 2 please?

Same as this guy. We'll probably never see another Jade Empire, not even an HD re-release, so back to re-play it.

Regarding KotOR III... well. It hurts bit. I will always remember KotOR I and II fondly, the former a Star Wars adventure and the latter, a gritty deconstruction of the Jedi and Sith and more. I just... I don't know, what roads lie ahead? Will we ever see another fantastic Star Wars RPG? Where could they go after that? I also hope for another Jedi Knight and more games set after and between the movies, which we'll probably get in the following years.

Besides that, I want another Fallout made by Obsidian and a Paper Mario like the The Thousand Year Door.

PS: The death of Dragon Ball Online saddens me, as it probably killed ideas to bring other manga/anime words to the MMO realm.

I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to Chrono Cross, or maybe Lunar 3 (if that has been made, someone please let me know) and I would definately want to play Suikoden VI, or the next installment of Front Mission (if they'd be arsed to bring it over to the States).

Oh, and I'd like to 3rd/4th the suggestion for making Jade Empire 2 and KoTR 3.

X-men Legends 3 or Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Not sure if Activision still has the marvel video game license or if Marvel would let them make the game since the marvel heroes MMO is out. Also if Raven Soft could develop it, that would be nice since they didn't work on Marvel Ultimate Allaince 2 and it wasn't as good as the X-men Legends games or the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance. I know activison is going to feel it with all types of DLC buy still want it.

Another Burnout would be nice. Its kind of sad Criterion is kind of dead.

Also wouldn't mind HD versions of the X-men Legends series or Burn Out 3

I'd like to see another Vampire: Bloodlines game. I really enjoyed the first one. Another cool game that I'd love to see revisited would be Arcanum.

A new Recettear game would be awesome. New dungeons would be really cool, with some cooler bosses and new music. Also some new gameplay elements, such as being able to enchant equipment to make new stuff for selling. As long as it's upbeat and full of awesomeness as the first one, then I would be good.

The bigger one I would want is the Fortune Summoners sequel. While the original game finished it's storyline, there was promise of more to come. Unfortunately, it sold very poorly, so the sequel will never be. I wanted a full game to be able to use the wind elemental stone, because that really helped things out, but once you got it, all that was left was the final dungeon. I would like the controls to be better, with the jumping not being so bad. Also, tone down the difficulty a little bit. Areas were always really hard, and it was a test of endurance trying to get through every area. A map system would be highly useful as well.

I would like another Radiant Historia game as well. The game was really good, and I feel with a better system, it could do much more interesting things. Having branching story lines where not only doing things in one line can get you certain endings, but could effect how things are done in the other time lines. Nothing to complex, but more than what we got with the game.

Also another Paper Mario, or a paper Nintendo game. Go back to the original looks. I wouldn't mind another type of Super Paper Mario.
