Worked late, got home to sink full of dirty dishes from my kids who had just hung out and snacked all afternoon. I had leftover taco fixings and threw 3 together in about 8 min. and was about to surf some when my kid comes down asking if, after she has been home for 5 hours, I would go get her and friend take out.

I declined. They're throwing a Digiorno's cheese pizza in the oven.

I have to go clean up their mess, but at least I delayed them enough to finish my tacos.

How'd your dinner go? What'd you eat? Any good? Who in your household prepared it?

At the moment, my dinner is marinating in the fridge. I'm making myself a philly cheesesteak and the good bits are in a bag that I prepared this afternoon, and I will be eating that in about an hour or so. So stripped beef and green peppers sitting in a bag of Jack Daniels, the actual liquor, salt and black pepper.

Results are unknown, but I suspect they will be delicious.

I'm working late tonight, and my job provides dinner for us. It looks like Mexican food, I think I'll pass and have a lean cuisine when I get home. Nobody prepares food for me, unfortunately v:

I'm eating some Patty Melt Hamburger Helper that I cooked yesterday. Cooking for one + fridge = win.

I live in catered accommodation here at my University (for this year, at least), so my dinner was lovely, as only a cooked-for-you dinner can be. Even better, it was that king of culinary excellence, a jacket potato with baked beans and cheese and a side serving of salad. Mmmm.

Of course, that was nearly 6 hours ago now, so now I'm midnight-snacking on tomato soup with toast and marmite. Double mmmm, with an extra helping of marmitey goodness.

BBQ Ribs and Corn on the cob
One of my favourite meals, it was delicious. Although the ribs where caked in BBQ sauce, I had to scrape some of it off there was that much.

My wife is currently cooking me a breakfast dinner. French toast, sausage, ham, hash browns, and scrambled eggs.

I fucking love my wife.

Fried diced pork with mashed beans, topped with cheese, and a side of mixed veggies.

Simply delicious.

I eat at the college cafeteria, though I'm not exactly sure what it was... All I know is that it was kinda like hamburger helper of some sort.

It's paid for by the school, so I just eat it and don't ask too many questions.

Pizza. Basic pizza base, canned mushroom soup acting as the sauce, then fry off some chicken, rump steak, mushrooms, onion, garlic, a egg and diced wedges as the topping.
Far, far, far better than any store bought pizza and only like half a price. Sometimes I throw some blue cheese on top... *drool*

Sesame broccoli tofu [http://www.notakeout.com/sesame-broccoli-tofu/]. And it was delicious.

I always make dinner in this house because, of the two of us, I'm the only one who doesn't eat meat, and my roommate doesn't know how to cook anything vegetarian. So he eats meat at breakfast or lunch and he's fine with the compromise.

Corned beef on rye sandwich, then later I had some leftover rice with a fried egg, cheese and salsa. Also Mountain Dew.

Kind of a weird meal made from various food I had in the fridge that needed eating.

I'm deployed in the military... We have a set menu! It was 'Mexican Monday' so I usually have some generic Mexican food that becaus I am British I cannot tell you what it is called... Yesterday I decided to mix it up, and had a Sheppard's pie in one of those C shaped crispy mexican shell things that you usually but ground beef and stuff into... possibly a Taco, but I cannot be sure...

It worked surprisingly well!
